Elephant & Castle in Dublin

Didn't enjoy the rebel songs being played in the bar. Not very inclusive, especially at Christmas. Oh ahh indeed.

Lovely place, fantastic atmosphere and very comfortable. Food very good, not spectacular but it isn't overpriced for the location and setting you get. All in all worth 5 stars. Will visit here again

An absolute gem of a place, finest steak dinner I've had in a while, not too pricey considering it's Dublin. Well worth a visit

My last visit was disappointing. The beetroot salad had little or no beetroot. I didn't mind because I got it more for the goats cheese, but the candied pecans weren't, and as a result no sweetness in the salad at all. As I had talked up this salad I have had before many times, 3 out 4 of our table ordered it. To say I was disappointed & embarrassed was an understatement. It wasn't busy & service was poor, we generally couldn't find a server to let them know the issue. Unsure if they're having staffing issues. When we were just ready to pay & leave I finally got a server over & I told them to maybe let the kitchen know. Anyway that was it, no apologies, or come back after talking to the kitchen to say anything about it. We paid and left & we won't be going again

The restaurant is charming, cozy atmosphere. The servers are attentive and kind with impeccable service. The food is delicious and the cocktails incredibly good, so go for it
