Elephant & Castle in Dublin

It's no longer the Elephant & Castle at the Mason hotel. The chicken wings tasted much the same as before. There is a new menu. It seems very limited to the previous one. They served food on a tin plate,which cheapened the experience. The desertsl weren't great but expensive. The portion of chips were tiny, but the price wasn't. The Mason was a regular experience for me ,but not any more. Looks like I will have to go back to the Elephant and Castle in Temple Bar.

Food was great, we had sirloin steak, wings and burger, special shout out to Sebastian excellent service as always! 🔥🔥

Absolutely fantastic food, we had steak, chicken snitzel, burger and gnocchi, everything was delicious and very generous portions. We'll definitely be returning!

I have been here multiple times and I definitely recommend this spot. Priscila and Ahmet are the best.

Really nice venue for pre drinks heading to the 3 arena

Nice food but expensive, especially the starters. Table was by the door and close to another couple, which I wasn’t fond of. Guinness was average but expensive. Food came out fast and was hot. Could do with a sign outside to direct to the restaurant.

Food was lovely staff were nice and friendly but the service let them down waiting 15 minutes to place our order.

Delicious chowder, cozy atmosphere, kind staff! Pretty fast in the service, prices are on average with environment, location and food quality. Highly recommended :)

We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the restaurant Elephant & Castle, The Mason in Dublin, which marked both the beginning and the end of our trip through Ireland – making it even more special for us. From the very beginning, the reservation process was completely straightforward and very accommodating, leaving us with an excellent first impression. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and received consistently attentive and friendly service throughout both of our visits. A special mention goes to our waiter Vlad, whose professional yet genuinely warm manner really stood out. It was especially lovely that we were immediately recognized on our second visit, which added a very personal touch to the experience. The food was consistently excellent – fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. We were particularly impressed by how well gluten-free requirements were handled. The staff regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was suitable and that we were comfortable, which we greatly appreciated and found very considerate. Even small details were thoughtfully taken care of, such as automatically offering gluten-free bread with the soup – a great example of genuine hospitality. A small misunderstanding regarding a whiskey order was resolved immediately and without any hassle, further highlighting the excellent level of service. In addition, the restaurant offers a wide and well-curated selection of drinks. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant with outstanding service, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere that we would happily return to and highly recommend without hesitation.
