Elephant & Castle in Dublin

Food was lovely staff were nice and friendly but the service let them down waiting 15 minutes to place our order.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the restaurant Elephant & Castle, The Mason in Dublin, which marked both the beginning and the end of our trip through Ireland – making it even more special for us. From the very beginning, the reservation process was completely straightforward and very accommodating, leaving us with an excellent first impression. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and received consistently attentive and friendly service throughout both of our visits. A special mention goes to our waiter Vlad, whose professional yet genuinely warm manner really stood out. It was especially lovely that we were immediately recognized on our second visit, which added a very personal touch to the experience. The food was consistently excellent – fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. We were particularly impressed by how well gluten-free requirements were handled. The staff regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was suitable and that we were comfortable, which we greatly appreciated and found very considerate. Even small details were thoughtfully taken care of, such as automatically offering gluten-free bread with the soup – a great example of genuine hospitality. A small misunderstanding regarding a whiskey order was resolved immediately and without any hassle, further highlighting the excellent level of service. In addition, the restaurant offers a wide and well-curated selection of drinks. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant with outstanding service, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere that we would happily return to and highly recommend without hesitation.

Delicious chowder, cozy atmosphere, kind staff! Pretty fast in the service, prices are on average with environment, location and food quality. Highly recommended :)

Chicken burger was overcooked and dry. Over priced

Myself and my family decided to book a table for a birthday celebration. The decor is amazing and there was a good atmosphere. We ordered wings, obviously, chips and caesar salad. The chips arrived near the end of the meal and the wings were absolutely not Elephant and Castle standard. Wouldn't go back.

Don't miss the wings! We stopped in without a reservation but they managed to accommodate us!

Good food, nice place,good location,near the 3 Arena

Great food, very nice place and lively atmosphere

Ordered a bottle of wine from the menu and have a carafe brought to the table 1 minute before the food arrives. Told that the bottle I ordered is actually the house wine! Lies. Ordered a Caesar salad that explicitly says contains anchovies on the menu. No anchovies! Told it’s in the sauce but again lies. Didn’t taste it at all. Small things maybe but when you think about the cost of the food!

Good food,but service did need improvement.
