The waiter was really nice guy. The coffees were great. We took several pastries. The jambon bagette was so full of butter my boyfriend got so bas stomach. The croissant a bit dry for my taste. The cinnamon bun was great and the brioche with mortadella was really good but pricey for what it was. The place is so like an office, its not so cozy there so basically is for take away
I used to come to Phibsborough mainly for the flea market—browsing vintage finds and quirky treasures was the highlight of my weekend. While in the area, I’d usually grab a bite somewhere nearby, just to keep me going. But that’s changed.
Now, I come to Phibsborough for Elliot Micro Bakery. The flea market? That’s just a bonus.
From the moment you step inside, there’s a warmth that hits you. The coffee is consistently excellent, smooth and rich, and the bakes? Truly something else. The cakes are indulgent but not overdone, the kind that feel homemade but elevated. The bread is the real hero though—crusty, fragrant, and full of character. It’s the sort of loaf that makes you plan a meal around it.
Elliot has turned into a small obsession of mine. What used to be a stopover is now a destination. Phibsborough’s got a gem here—and if you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out

I had coffee, a ham and cheese croissant and I brought home a sourdough. Gorgeous! Very, very tasty. I need to finish my sourdough so I can try the other variations. I asked for the rye one and I was told it was done in the past and it could be back soon. It is comparable to my Bread Naturally in Raheny which has the best sourdough in this side of the Milk Way.

Having tried the supposed best café in Dublin I can categorically say that this place is superior in every sense.
Friendly staff, delicious and fresh pastries as well as one of the best coffees I have ever had.
A must visit.

The rhubarb cream brioche from Elliot’s might just be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It’s the perfect balance of tangy, creamy, zesty, perfectly sweet but not too sweet, just delightful. Honestly, everything I’ve tried from Elliot’s has been great. Their basque cheesecake is gorgeous. The only downside is if you want options, get there before 10 AM on weekends. The shop closes at 3 PM, but most of the stuff is gone by 11
