Second time to visit encore cafe when in area. Again, asked to sit and waiter will come to take order. This was done promptly and staff always welcoming. Tables were swiftly cleaned after each sitting. Located in Merrion shopping centre opposite Tesco entrance. Againenjoyed my visit.

I was there at the same time as John Redmond and witnessed the interaction. The staff member in question behaved clamly and gently under duress as he was dealing with a very aggressive customer who was screaming and shouting and obviously having a bad day.

27/07/2026: This place was magical for us! My husband and I needed to sit down after visiting nearby pubs looking at their art, but we were not in the mood for heavy pub food. The charred cauliflower amazed me-- it's my favorite Perfect Bite ever, and the crudo and Basque cheesecake were also delicious perfection! Thank you for welcoming us so close to closing time and for sharing stories of Mimi and more 😊You gave us a wonderful memory of Dublin. ♥️
