Essence Patisserie in Dublin

Lovely little cafe in the heart of Dundrum, food and coffee is excellent but the real highlight is the staff. So friendly and so attentive. Highly recommend!

Nice cafe/restaurant on the main street in Dundrum, Dublin. Service is good and staff are very friendly and polite. Good selection on the menu suitable for breakfast or lunch.

This is a fabulous breakfast and lunch place that seems to fly beneath the radar. Small, I would not say it’s renowned for “patisserie” but for superb sandwiches and great noodle bowls. Strongly recommend this haven if you happen to be in Dundrum, as you can quite easily walk by it without noticing it.

Absolutely lovely place to go for breakfast, fantastic people very very friendly and hospitable.

Good morning Ireland!☀️ Such a good place to go to and have an early morning sandwich with a salad on the side sitting in a super atmospheric pastry! Especially the service from both the sweet owner and a helper Sha Weng were as awesome as a nicely made breakfast! Will for sure visit the place again😁😁

This place is so much more than a patisserie. The sandwiches/wraps are magnificent (a shoutout to the crispy spicy pulled chicken) and the traditional breakfast looks almost healthy. It is a magnificent unknown gem, one that even some family members living nearby are unfamiliar. How has it managed to go unseen? There are other decent food cafés in Dublin but this place isn’t cool/trendy or Instagrammable like many of them. It’s just great coffee, fabulous food and warm service. It’s about the tenth time I’ve been here and each time I fear if there will now be a line out the door awaiting to be thrilled. For breakfast, for lunch or just an afternoon break, it is the best in Dundrum and truly among the best in the city.
