Evolve Eatery in Dublin

*rating changed, pls read below* Hands down my favorite breakfast spot in all of Dublin. The chicken and waffles are next level and always my go to. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here. 13/5/25 Edit: I have to change my rating only because for the past few months, things have really changed for the worse at Evolve. First of all: shrinkflation. A chicken waffle for example used to come with two pieces of chicken and two waffles. Now it’s just one piece of chicken and one waffle. The price has gone up too and is now €16 for less food. They also cut corners by giving you Philadelphia on your waffle (which is honestly gross, who thought that was a good idea?) instead of mascarpone in order to save money. On top of that the quality of food has gone down. The chicken used to be packed with flavour. Now it’s bland and completely lacks that zesty black pepper seasoning. The waffles used to be crispy. Now the single solitary waffle that you get is often times mushy and kind of gross. What happened to this place after the renovation?? Yesterday my wife and I got our usuals: chicken waffle, hash bowl, and 2 coffees and it was €47. €47 for breakfast and you get less of it! I’m sorry, but that’s insane. Even the Kingswood location, although it’s the same price, does a better job preparing the food. I’m not sure what happened to my favourite breakfast place, but it’s sad to see it deteriorate in such a short amount of time. The cooks at the Kingswood location are way more consistent, but the exorbitant prices at both locations have kept me from coming back weekly like I used to and now I’ll usually stop in maybe once a month if that. Honestly, it’s kind of sad, I used to absolutely LOVE this place for years.

Consistently gorgeous food, cooked fresh to order but worth the wait. A favorite brunch place.

All the staff are lovely the food is amazing and worth the money there's no problem at all meeting requests on your food. The out door covered in seating area is lovely on a nice day for afternoon lunch

Overall, decent enough experience. But table was a bit dirty when we were sat and even the cutlery and napkins weren't entirely clean. I got pancakes and they were very burnt, I could tell though they would've been very nice if it weren't for that. My partner got poached eggs and it was an incredibly small portion especially when compared to the pancakes. Unfortunately I had heard so many things about Evolve that my expectations were high and I've left a bit disappointed
