Food was excellent but unfortunately the service wasn't great. We requested that we didn't get seated by the door as the door was open and it was cold, they still put us there. Had to pay for the meal before being served and was charged to take my leftovers home with me. The food itself was full of flavour and plentiful.

Fabis is one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel like you’ve accidentally stepped into a United Nations food summit. You can have sushi. You can have Asian food. You can have Brazilian. It’s as if the chef couldn’t decide what to specialise in, so just said “yes” to everything.
I went with a couple of mates after the cinema – the sort of place you pop into when you’ve had popcorn, jellies, and poor life decisions, and you think, let’s eat something proper. We all went Brazilian, because of course we did. I went for the Beef Milanesa, and it was glorious. Crunchy, tender, perfectly seasoned – like a schnitzel that had gone to finishing school.
My friend, in a display of heroic bad judgment, ordered the Chicken Milanesa. It was dry. Sahara-dry. You could have used it as sandpaper. Meanwhile, my other mate had the Parm Chicken with chips, inhaled it in record time, then announced he was still hungry. This is a man who’d just demolished half a cinema’s worth of snacks an hour earlier.
The beans were excellent – soft, rich, and smoky enough to make you momentarily forgive the global confusion happening on the menu. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and smiling, which is always welcome when you’re dining somewhere that looks like three restaurants had a midlife crisis and merged.
Now, the less glamorous bit: the toilet. Someone, somewhere, had clearly lost a very personal battle with the beans. It was clogged. Beyond help. Let’s just say it was a scene of tragedy and despair – the sort of thing you walk away from silently, never to speak of again.
So yes, Fabis is a bit chaotic, occasionally brilliant, sometimes dry, and definitely memorable. Would I go back? Probably. But I might eat light on the beans next time.

Middle of the road. Wasn’t bad wasn’t amazing. The beef was very chewy and the rice was overcooked. But prices were fair, €33 for two mains and a water. Portions were decent. But they weren’t serving Sushi which was disappointing. Little bit of a weird set up. You wait to be seated, the waiter brings you to your table, brings you menus and then disappears? Only to be told 15mins later that you have to go back down to the front counter with your menu and order? Strange. The girl on the counter was nice but didn’t understand English well. She couldn’t explain certain foods we weren’t familiar with. She did her best tho. There’s better Brazilian restaurants in the city.

What a pleasant surprise with the quality of the feijoada! I hadn't been to Fabi's in a while, so I decided to try it, and it was excellent. The portion was extremely generous, with plenty of meat, not greasy at all. I recommend it without hesitation, and the service was excellent.

I definitely recommend Fabis, great service, wonderful food, that day we ate Japanese food, (best sushi) but the menu is extremely diverse and worth checking out!
