Fable Bakery in Dublin

The first pastry shop in my experience to compare with those in Melbourne, the foodie capital of Oz. There is a fine Italian restaurant nearby that we go to just for their focaccia, as it is so good. Fable's is even better. Excellent work, team!

My local bakery. ❤️ it never disappoints- these folks are super creative with their monthly specials and their classic options are good too- living locally means I’ve tried most of them 😂.

I visited Fable Cafe today. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was great as were the baked goods. The only down side for me was the way the pastries were presented. I would have thought, in light of the prices, that there could be more of an effort made. Instead of a cheap paper bag, the cakes might be sold in a little box, maybe with the shops logo. This would make the pastries easier to eat and promote the shop in a better light. There's a lot to be said for presentation and I was a bit let down in the sense that the delicious pastry was just thrown into a brown paper bag,like in your local Spar shop.(Not a good look). 10 out of 10 for baked goods. 2 out of 10 for presentation.

The best pastries in Dublin in my opinion! Especially as someone who prefers a savoury treat, but the sweet ones are as discious. Couldn't recommend this place more!
