This is one of my favourite places to go in Dublin and I always recommend it to friends or people visiting. The staff are so cute and they offer you soup for free with your meal!! It’s always good and it has a really special vibe that is hard to fine in temple bar when there’s so many chains around.

Falafel is a small, no-frills restaurant located in a very busy part of the city. While it’s not a fancy place, it has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes it a regular hangout spot for me and my friends—whether it’s a weekday or the weekend. We often go there to have some food, enjoy tea or coffee, treat ourselves to a dessert like baklava, and relax with shisha. One of the best things about Falafel is that they stay open until late at night, which is a huge plus if you’re looking for a spot to eat or chill after hours. The menu includes different types of kebab, soups, tea, coffee, and cold drinks—but no alcoholic beverages. They also offer shisha with various flavors, and unlike some places, they don’t limit your time. You’re free to sit, eat, sip your drink, smoke, and chat as long as you like. Sometimes they play Arabic music in the background, which really adds to the atmosphere. I personally think they should keep the music playing more consistently—it sets the mood without being too loud, which is perfect for a place where people want to talk and relax. The staff are always kind and friendly, especially the regular ones we see often. They make the experience even more enjoyable. There are a couple of areas where they could improve: 1. Toilet cleanliness – The restroom isn’t always well-maintained, so regular cleaning would make a big difference. 2. Tea quality – Instead of serving tea bags, I would love to see them offer brewed tea, especially since it’s an Arabic-style restaurant. Brewed tea would elevate the authenticity and overall experience. Overall, Falafel Restaurant is a great late-night spot for casual dining, friendly conversation, and shisha with friends. It’s not about luxury—it’s about comfort, atmosphere, and good company.

Best Falafel and shawarma spot in Dublin by a long shot! The Hijabi girl and owner Dia are always so lovely, we always see them with friendly faces when we come in. The restaurant is generous enough to offer complimentary lentil soup, a rare thing in Irish hospitality these days.

A clean and great halal restaurant that offers middle eastern dishes among other things shawarma or falafel. The portions are not small. Good service, cozy ambiance at a good location accessible by foot and near the many prominent landmarks of Dublin.

Perios

12/05/2025: Delicious grilled chicken—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Great flavor with a nice Tandoori sauce. Definitely coming back for more.
22/04/2025: We visited Perios Grill with a group of friends and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the Double Shish, Chelo Kebab, Sultani Kebab, Queen Kebab, and a portion of wings, along with Ayran and Coke. First of all, all dishes were served with rice, which is a smart and traditional choice for a kebab restaurant. They also served freshly baked bread (nan), made in-house in a tanour oven—adding an authentic and delicious touch. Portion sizes were generous and satisfying. I must say, the Chelo Kebab (Koobideh/minced kebab) was one of the best you can find in Dublin and surrounding areas—grilled over coals to perfection, rich in flavor, and juicy. The wings were also well-seasoned and tasty. A lovely surprise: they offered complimentary brewed tea—not teabags, which I really dislike, but proper loose-leaf brewed tea. It was excellent. We paired it with baklava and handmade Dubai Chocolate (not the original brand, but still incredibly good). We spent around €33 per person, which was reasonable considering the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience. The staff were absolutely wonderful—kind, warm, and genuinely hospitable. I truly respect the way they treated their guests. A heartfelt thank you to the team for such a welcoming experience.

Ruby's Pizza & Grill Point Square

11/05/2025: Good restaurant, the atmosphere is nice and the food is good for a fair price. Friday evening was sold out but we were put on a waiting list and called back 25 minutes later. The nachos to share were very good, the pizza and burger were good too. Good value for money. The restaurant closed on Mondays unless there is a concert because it is located opposite the 3arena concert hall. It's very noisy.
11/05/2025: The food and drinks where so nice in this restaurant with so many options and fast service
