A friend recommended this place and now it’s one of our go-to takeaways! The black bean beef with green peppers was full of flavor, and the spice bag — with crispy fries, chicken strips, and wings — is just perfect. Their bubble tea is also great, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Orders arrive hot and on time. Highly recommended!

famous is definitely one of my favourite places to eat at in lucan!! i think the portion sizes are perfect and i’m always full after eating from them. had a thai fried rice last night and it’s probably one of my favourite things on the menu… maybe second to a megabox. it’s a little bit spicy for me personally, but the overall taste surely makes up for it.

Best Chinese in Lucan BY FAR. Food is a straight 10/10 always delicious. Fast delivery. Massive selection. Girl on the phone is lovely and polite. Not one bad thing to say about the place. BEST CHINESE IN LUCAN without a doubt. If you want a massive selection of piping hot delicious Chinese food Famous is the place to be.

Top class food. Got a meal A for €11.50. 8 chicken balls, fried rice and a tub curry sauce. Feel like I’m pregnant after it. Some portions!

Rathfarnham Castle Cafe

09/08/2025: A lovely cafe at Rathfarnham Castle. We sat at a table overlooking the beautiful grounds. The display of food looked so fresh and appetising and we enjoyed our choice immensely. Thank you to a charming young lady, (who seemed to be new and training) that looked after us very efficiently. Such a hidden gem. Will definitely return
04/05/2025: The café has a beautiful and cozy vibe, and I really enjoyed the coffee and the pastry both were fresh and tasty. I also loved the vintage teacup display, which gives the place a unique charm. However, many tables were left dirty for over 15 minutes, even though there were four staff members behind the counter. A little more attention to cleanliness would greatly improve the experience. I suggest either putting up signs encouraging customers to clear their tables or assigning a couple of staff members to check and clean the tables every 15 minutes. This way, new customers can enjoy the space too. Beautiful spot, but sadly not well maintained.
