The best scrambled egg's I've eaten in years, easily the best in the area, and they've upped their game immensely, downside....you'll find it hard to get a seat!

This is a very ordinary cafe with a very long queue (on Saturday mornings at least). There is nothing wrong with the coffee or the food (pastries, yoghurt, porridge, kids' menu). But none of it is amazing -- or amazing enough to justify the long queue. The queue must come from some management problem. The staff are friendly and doing their best. But with 5 people working and a long wait time, something must be wrong. It's a place to meet people, not to relax. The atmosphere is lively but loud. Colin Farrell once headbutted a waitress here (in the opening scene of "Intermission"). So that's another reason to visit, I guess.

I pop in regularly and am never disappointed, best scones in south Dublin, morning sun on the terrace is usually as warm as the welcome. Even when the super friendly Chloe is not there another young designer bespectaled lady and /or empathetic B F G make my day.

Saw the reviews, but decided to try here anyways. Really friendly and attentive staff and the coffee was yummy. We didn't try the food, but it does look nice.
