This place is awesome! The menu has a great variety of delicious food, and the cocktails are both diverse and well-made. The staff is super friendly and always around, making the service feel smooth and efficient. The wine selection is on point, and it’s a great spot for families too. Definitely one of the best places I’ve come across lately!

Wow wow wow was this place good. Went here for my brothers birthday and was so fun. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and spicy chicken wings for STARTERS. Pizza was so AWSOME sauce I really enjoyed it, chicks wings were fine I’d probably order the garlic bread next time as I took some of my brother and it was so good mmm mm mmm. THE PIZZA was made just right, pepperoni on point and so cheesy. Was pretty big too so I was happy. Brought out a cake for my brothers birthday and everyone clapped was nice. Prices were sheesh high, but food very nice. Would recommend for a nice family event. 😼😼😼

I can start by providing an honest opinion of the restaurant and area - as I grew up only a 5 minute walk away… - A brilliantly placed restaurant with a comfortable, local atmosphere attached - food above average but still pricey for the overall experience I had. Here is a solid breakdown of 50/50: (Pros & Cons) Pros: 1) Good Service - Attentive staff and friendly. I can say that the staff working here understand hospitality service. 2) Quick initial service with a fast reaction for drinks - my glass was almost empty and the staff were very quick to react and ensure that I had a beverage to enjoy 3) Food selection was quite broad - lots of selection for our guests Cons: 1) Food (for the price) - was definitely overpriced but not on the worst side of the scale. My steak was €33 for a few frozen onion rings and a peeper sauce. The potatoes were well roasted with rosemary and butter but it can’t explain the cost. Asked for medium rare | almost perfect but definitely overpriced. Prawns and pasta with a basic cream sauce for €19.90 - overpriced for the environment, service and variety provided. 2) I asked for a cloak room or space for my wife’s jacket and bag - the response from the manager was “the back of the chair, we don’t have a cloakroom”. Very unprofessional, and quite frankly lazy for the price you pay… I would have thought after 20+ years in hospitality, that this was an essential part of any restaurant environment to have. 3) I asked “what type of beers do you have on tap?” - only Peroni seems a bit cheap to be honest and while I paused to consider my decision, I hoped to be offered a reasonable choice of quality beer (bottle or not), it was a very simple solution for customers paying at least 30-40€ per person. Not for free of course, I just would have personally hoped for anything other than Peroni. 4) Starter came out EXCEPTIONALLY fast. I asked what the soup was, I was told “veg”… I asked what vegetables, I was told “I don’t know, just the usual carrots and potatoes”. Perhaps I was a bit too relaxed, but I definitely expected a more thoughtful response as I am still a customer. 5) Main courses took over 25 minutes to come out, it did get busy from the time we came in but we were 6 people and local - I didn’t expect to try and find conversation with my party while I watched efficiently served food and drinks to other tables. The manager came over and asked my father what each and every order was (like he genuinely had no idea) and in fairness, did apologise for the delay but in all honesty, was completely clueless about our tables order and seemed like he was just saying “apologies about the delay” because my father had to ask what the delay was. Acting interested does not prove you actually are, this was a simple thing for most but as a chef and hospitality professional, very lacking in basic communication. 6) Main courses tasted great, I can’t lie about that - BUT - baby potatoes with some frozen onion rings and simple pepper sauce for €33, definitely priced the demographic, not the quality. After everything I have here, I can’t lie but give it a straight 3/5. Far from exceptional but great tasting nonetheless. A lot of factors go into any review but disappointingly in this case, the combination of food / service / price, add up to an experience that I don’t wish to experience again for that price. There are a lot of restaurants in Dublin, this is one that missed a few serious marks in my eyes. Maybe I’m critical, yes… but I am always realistic and this is just a flat 3.. Not bad, definitely NOT terrible, but yes… overpriced and lacking basic hospitality comfort.

Michaela looked after us Booked a table for 7, service charge added We went with the Early Bird 3 Course Meal €30.95 Decent choices, good value I went with the Spicy Chicken Wing Starter, Satay Chicken Curry 1/2 & 1/2 with the Malteeser Cheesecake option Our only hiccup was the dessert, one of our guests has an allergy to strawberry and was given strawberry. This was rectified and an alternative provided. Please make sure to cater for all, if some mentions an allergy then write down allergy. If you need the chef to come out to the table, then get the chef! Other than that, friendly courteous staff and thank you to Michaela for an enjoyable night.

We were here on Saturday night for a birthday party and we had a lovely time. The place, although small was packed. Staff were lovely throughout and were extremely helpful. I got the carbonara as a main, which was lovely and the portion was more than enough, and deep fried Brie to start. Would recommend going here as they have a wide selection on the menu, will definitely be back.
