Firebyrd in Dublin

I had a busy day and wanted something quick without compromising on quality, and Firebyrd Ranelagh was the perfect choice. I ordered one of the wrap meals and it was absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavour, and really satisfying. The service was fast and friendly, making it an ideal spot when you’re short on time but still want a great meal. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it!

Portion sizes were great. Staff serving were very nice too !

Tater tots are great, portion sizes are big and the chicken is lovely. Just wish there was a hotter level of spice available than the max currently available spice - if you're into really spicy stuff then you might be slightly disappointed by the What the Cluck level of spice. Will definitely be going here again though! Edit: 5 years later, went again and the ghost pepper spice is perfect - verryyy spicy hits the spot well

So, please ignore bad reviews from people who apparently came to this country from exotic places recently and they have a habit of complaining a lot. It's mostly baseless. Then, regarding the place itself, the quality of food is always absolute top however as some other reviewers noticed the quality of preparation differs depending if the newer staff (girls, possibly Indian origin? Not that it matters but idk how otherwise to specify which ones) prepares it. They often miss the recipes, and don't pay much attention to the little details like amount of salt or properly adding a sauce to burgers. Or didn't asked what side we'd like. Another example, some time ago me and my friend ordered dine in and the basic ingredients were missing. Also the paper towels were missing too. It's not like you couldn't pop out and obtain some from nearby stores in 5mins... Little details. Food is an experience that needs bit of heart to be put in to be top notch. This never happens when the manager and the older staff is there. The lads working in the kitchen are fantastic. Now it's a bit hit and miss depending on who's working. So yeah please pay attention to the newer staff. Still 5* from me as I believe this is something that can be easily improved. Please don't take it personally, Firebyrd is just too good to allow it to degrade.

“Another happy customer” muttered the proud Matthew as I left this fine fine establishment. And (chicken) boy he wasn’t wrong! From the moment I sat down I was overwhelmed, in the best possible way, by the variety on offer. Paralysed by choice, I was rescued by Matthew: waiter, front of house, and food consultant all in one. His recommendation? The lemon buffalo boneless bites with a Firebyrd dip. Inspired. The chicken was decidedly succulent and the dip was the pièce de résistance. I was so taken by the food and the service that I promised Matthew a review on the spot, and I am a man of my word. It’s official: the chicken boy’s apprentice has become a man. Five stars. I’ll be back, and Matthew, I expect a recommendation of equal calibre. And to the people of ranelagh, you needn’t take a place like this for granted.

Just got my first order from here and very Impressed the chicken tenders are massive and taste superb will definitely be back again

Just had an unreal feed at Firebyrd. The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle, the slaw was fresh and creamy, and the spicy fries had the perfect kick without being overpowering. But the standout was the hot honey — absolutely incredible, sweet, spicy and addictive. Everything tasted fresh and packed with flavour. If you’re into proper Nashville-style chicken, this place is a must-try. Easily one of the best chicken spots in Dublin.

First time to try this place. Very nice place. Small but enough space. Food was to die for. Defo try this again
