Had to try their famous fish and chips! The fried fish was very light and crispy - the batter wasn't too heavy or soggy at all. The chips were already salted so I didn't need to add anything but in terms of the fish to potato ratio, maybe a little too much potato 🤣

The food was very good, a bit greasy but expected as it is fried food, the shrimp (Scampi) were very good, as much as the fries. The only downside here is the time waited to be served. Otherwise, worth it.

Tried the hut/shack version on the pier. Service was slow and fish portions were very small considering the price. Overall tasted fresh and was delicious. Would recommend but with the above caveats.

Not sure why these reviews are so hit or miss, as this was by far the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Granted it was just me ordering when I got there, so it was very fresh and quick. Really great to walk along the pier, just mind the birds trying to steal your chips!
