10/10, the burgers and fries were delicious and they were kind enough to still cook for us even when we got there right when they were closing (wasn't aware I'm sorry!)

I’m heartbroken to hear that this amazing restaurant is closing. It’s been my go-to spot for the most wholesome and delicious vegan burgers and salads in Dublin. This place will be dearly missed, I wish the team nothing but success in their future endeavours!

With so many vegan and vegetarian places closing, this restaurant is a rarity that should be protected at all costs. The burger is so filling that you don't need fries, the milkshake is perfectly made, and the service is spotless. They also sell ready to go meals for your lazy but healthy evenings. Really, this made my day. Thank you so much for that!!

A fantastic place to eat delicious vegan food, and build your own salad and main course... burgers, shakes, etc. They're closed in the evening or late at night...

I had been meaning to try Flip burger for a while since I saw the review in the IT a few months ago. Grabbed the chance when in town on Saturday with a friend home from the States. I didn't make the connection until I was in that the owners are the same infamous Blazing Salads! (I must have missed that bit in the review:-) What a treat to have Lorraine herself presenting us with our goodies with a great smile and affable humour.

Came here today with a wheelchair. Although difficult to get in (we could have chosen to sit outside) the owner was very accommodating, making sure we had space to sit, and then making something specific for my son, even though it was more hassle than if she hadn't. Really appreciated the fantastic service, and might visit again before we leave!

We stopped in for lunch today and had an amazing experience! There were lots of healthy choices, with hot and cold buffets + cooked to order vegan burgers of different types. The spices and zingy tastes were fabulous and the staff was ultra friendly 🤩 A big up and a big recommend from all 3 of us!

Hogans

16/10/2025: Very friendly staff behind the bar. It was a quiet spot for a pint in the hustle and bustle of temple bar we found this gem. Lovely pint of Guinness. Proper Irish pub.
15/10/2025: Perched prominently on South Great George's Street, Hogan's Bar stands as a magnificent bridge between the traditional Dublin boozer and the city’s vibrant, modern social scene. It is a hub of activity, people-watching, and, crucially, a highly respected purveyor of what many locals argue is one of the best, most consistently satisfying pints of Guinness in the entire city. The moment your pint is settled and placed before you, the quality is undeniable. The stout at Hogan's is often praised for its perfect temperature, its rich, dark color, and a dome of creamy foam that holds its structure flawlessly. The "yummy" factor is high: it's incredibly smooth on the palate, with that perfect balance of coffee and malt notes that defines a masterfully poured pint. In a city full of great Guinness, Hogan's dedication to freshness and pour technique places it firmly among the elite. While the Guinness might be old-school perfect, the pub's atmosphere is pure contemporary Dublin. Hogan's is famous for its large, street-facing windows, turning the bar into a theatre for observing the eclectic hustle of George's Street. By day, it's a laid-back spot perfect for chilling, reading, and conversation. But as the week winds down, the energy explodes. Hogan's seamlessly transitions into a lively late bar, especially when the music kicks off in the downstairs "International Beat Basement." This dual identity—a solid traditional pub with a great pint on the main floor, and a trendy, high-energy spot below—is what makes Hogan's a landmark. If you’re seeking a vibrant spot where the atmosphere is as electric as the stout is velvety, Hogan's is an absolute must-visit. It’s a guaranteed great pint and a guaranteed good time.
