The coffee is good here only thing I find odd is that they never offer sugar or stirrers. I'm sure they have them but you shouldn't have to ask. On the menu it says fresh pastries every morning, yet I arrived before 9 am the pastery I got was stone cold and tasted off. It was at least a day or two old and I spat it out and binned it immediately. I should have returned it as it's clearly false advertising but wasn't worth the hassle. Also your forced into a giant pothole as you leave this place so don't go if you care about your car.

01/07/2025: Chapter & Verse is amazing! They are just across the street from me and they always help with last-minute orders. On-time deliveries, and the team is kind and quick in their responses. I really recommend them. Thanks Eoin and the team.
26/06/2025: Always a pleasure dealing with Eoin and his team. We want to support local business and in turn we get great service week after week. We use Chapter & Verse to cater for client meetings, office parties and have ordered a variety of food and drinks, hampers, catering etc and it is always done with exceptionally good service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend working with Eoin and the team.

08/10/2025: Food always consistently good, staff demeanour depends on their mood. Coffee however is a roll of the dice (amazing if you get one certain barista), undrinkable bubbly muck (anybody else).
07/10/2025: sadly the day i've visited the café they couldn't serve food other than their bakery items. i didn't like the banana bread, it was too soggy and stapled dirty dishes were at every table inside. needless to say, it smelled very badly in the outside sitting area.
