F.X. Buckley in Dublin

My family of 4 dined here on a Saturday night and it was absolutely incredible! I have food allergies including wheat, dairy, shellfish, egg, and all nuts, and they were very accommodating. Our server was very attentive and able to go over the ingredient lists of the food with me very well. Would recommend with anyone with food allergies!

We have been to F.X. Buckley a few times before and each time we mean to write a review about how fantastic it is, in particular we want to mention Mario who always has gone the extra mile to make sure we are well taken care of. From the beginning of service right through to leaving the building I cannot express enough how amazing the staff in this restaurant are, Mario carefully explained every steak type to every customer as well as checking back without being overbearing to every guest. The food is fantastic, the chefs know exactly what they’re doing and it’s perfect every time. We will be back down from Belfast again soon to enjoy possibly the best steaks (and service) you will ever find in Dublin.

Went out for an after Christmas treat and the meal and service we received were outstanding. Our server, Mario, is fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. He made our meal 10/10. The scallop starter was beautiful with lightly fried capers really adding to the dish. Our steaks were cooked to perfection with sides were amazing. Big shout out to the crispy onions, wow! We finished off with two Irish coffees and a sticky toffee pudding, the pudding was balanced, warm and a perfect way to end our meal. We will be back again soon!

We went to this place on a recommendation, and honestly, we didn't like it at all. The meat wasn't cooked to the doneness we ordered, and it wasn't tasty either. The service was mediocre. I asked the waiter to charge my phone, and he refused. The tables are very close together, which offered no privacy. I didn't have a good experience. The food is overpriced and doesn't reflect the quality.

Service is poor and steak had no flavour

Amazing.. the food is unreal. Steak sandwiches are beautiful. Bone marrow for starters was lovely. Will be back again and again and again 💯

I walked in but got a table. It's the best steak in Dublin so far; I've only tried three though. Very good service too. The beef was very tender, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I went to the temper bar first to soak up the festive New Year atmosphere, then came here to quietly enjoy my meal.

10/10. We stumbled upon this place by accident and ate the best meat of our lives. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. An unforgettable culinary experience. Very professional service, pleasant decor, and not too loud. The dishes are absolutely worth the price.
