F.X. Buckley in Dublin

The food and service were great. We had the porterhouse for two along with a nice Chianti come couldn’t ask for anything more.

Saturday night and they got a table for 2. Very fast service.

Portions are getting smaller and smaller for the Sunday roast otherwise good and prompt service, good food

We shared a chateaubriand ans it was excellent. We didn’t have a starter and we’re glad as there were a lot of sides that came with it. Left stuffed but the meat is great quality. 2nd time visiting.

A unique old butcher’s atmosphere. An exceptional choice of cuts of beef with a selection of wines that go perfectly with it. Favorite for fried onions.

A great classic steak restaurant. Service was friendly and the food was great. We tried an item from the lunch value menu and other items from the ala-carte menu. All dishes were good and the lunch menu fillet was especially good value for money. The wine (by glass) which we tried was also great. Definitely a place to dine in Dublin.

The meat was fabulous, with an exquisite flavor. The service was very friendly and attentive, they helped us and advised us.

Visité el viernes por la noche para mi cumpleaños de maridos. El restaurante es precioso y el personal muy amable. Me encantó que el camarero viniera y mostrara cada corte de carne. Elegí el filete y el puré de papas con las cebollas crujientes de cajún. Fue fantástico. Mi marido tenía el filete Ribeye con patatas fritas y médula ósea jus. Dijo que era el mejor ojo costal que ha tenido. Las bebidas y el vino eran geniales. Tuvimos una noche encantadora. Estábamos demasiado llenos para los desiertos. Muy recomendable y no puedo esperar para volver.

FX Buckley was our favorite steakhouse in Dublin! The dry-aged beef, which was matured for at least 28 days, was fantastic. There were four of us and we shared the porterhouse and a chateaubriand - each for 2 people. I would also like to particularly highlight the side dishes, which we all found very delicious! Since we ordered two large menus, the entire selection was brought to us - thanks again for that. The highlights were the onions/mushrooms and the mashed potatoes. For wine we chose a Malbec. This one was great too! There's nothing to say about the ambience and staff - an all-round perfect dinner.

Il locale vuole essere elegante ma non ha personalità né nulla di tipicamente irlandese. Il personale è professionale ma affatto empatico. La materia prima buona ma non eccellente. Prezzo eccessivo.
