F.X. Buckley in Dublin

We were not disappointed with the meat quality. It was grilled to perfection. The ambiance is much quieter than the other restaurants in Dublin, which is much appreciated. Very nice wine card, although overpriced. We had 2h to eat until the next booking takes over our table. It is sufficient to enjoy a main and a bottle of wine, but you may opt for the 2nd service if you go for the snacks/starters/main/dessert. I highly recommend it.

We visited the place last Wednesday evening to celebrate my boyfriend’s bday. Staffs were very nice especially the host who gave us a complimentary dessert. Food was excellent!

What else to tell except that everything in this restaurant was exceptional. A high service high a high quality. Thank you again for this exceptional moment.

I can’t remember ever having such a marvelous steak before. If you love beef and are in Dublin: come here!

The Sunday dinner we indulged in with our family of four surpassed all expectations and left an indelible mark on our culinary journey. First and foremost, the star of the show was undoubtedly the roast beef. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, each bite was a testament to the expertise of the chefs at FX Buckley. The quality of the meat was unparalleled, leaving us speechless with every mouthful. Beyond the remarkable food, the service was impeccable. Attentive and friendly staff members tended to our every need with professionalism and a genuine passion for hospitality. Right from the outset, the service at FX Buckley was exceptional, exuding a can-do attitude that immediately put us at ease. We appreciated the detailed explanation of the various meat cuts, setting the stage for a culinary journey ahead. The menu, though concise, is thoughtfully structured, allowing patrons to focus on the stars of the selection. We were particularly impressed by the inclusion of starter cocktails, each of which was expertly crafted and presented. Among them, the "Smokey Old Fashioned" stood out with its remarkable balance of flavors. The main event—the meat—undoubtedly lived up to its hype. From its well-marbled texture to its tender bite, every aspect was meticulously executed. The subtle infusion of coal smoke added an extra dimension of flavor, while the precise medium-rare cook time further enhanced the dining experience. While the fried onions served as a side felt excessive and somewhat misaligned with the dish, the accompanying salad proved to be a refreshing counterpart, with its light dressing and crisp freshness. However, the creamy spinach side fell short of expectations, leaning too heavily on creaminess rather than showcasing the anticipated vibrant spinach flavor. To complement the meal, we opted for a Malbec from France, which proved to be an ideal match, enhancing the flavors of the meat without overpowering them. Excellent Steakhouse in the center of Dublin, the meat is good and of good quality. The service and the place are a little less so, the tables are small and very close to each other, considering that the prices are high, this could be improved. However, absolutely recommended for eating excellent meat!
