Great sears on the steaks. Very flavorful. An elegant steakhouse that did not disappoint, but also didn't surprise.

Marko in particular was incredibly welcoming and hospitable.

An absolute highlight of our Dublin trip.
Every guest is very well looked after here. From the aperitif to the dessert, including birthday greetings from the kitchen, everything was perfect. Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys steaks.

Generous portions for a good price. I've seen almost anyone eating steaks so we did too and they were great. Also the dessert is included in the menu but we were so full and asked if it's possible to bring it home and they did a nice little package for the profiteroles. Recommended

It is hard to find anything wrong here. The service was some of the best we have had (not just in Dublin, but anywhere). The ribeye was in the top 3 steaks I have ever had. The chips fried in tallow were great, our entire experience was absolutely amazing. My wife had the filet and mashed potatoes, she loved hers too.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were surprised to find somewhere this good in Temple Bar. They accommodated us without a reservation, but we recommended making one. It is small, and fills up fast, they had to turn people away while we were there.

Definitely wanted to try some Irish beef and FXB did not disappoint. The server recommended a great wine, the 10oz filet paired with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach was just enough for 2. No room for dessert however the neighborhood offered up a great walk and shop after dinner.

A small restaurant with excellent steak options! The service was fantastic and helpful, and the tomahawk was delicious. We especially loved that it came with a variety of sauces to try with it. The sides were okay, with the mac and cheese being a little dry, but they took it off the ticket when they realized we didn’t eat it (without us saying anything).
Unfortunately, the easiest item on our order - my son’s burger - came out incorrect and took an inordinate amount of time (20+ minutes) to be corrected and re-served. I don’t know if it was rang in incorrectly or made incorrectly, but it wasn’t ideal for the rest of our food to be sitting, getting cold while that was remade.
We would definitely go here again, in spite of the few hiccups.

Excellent steak!!!!
Both filet and striploin.
Very expensive.
We were here with 8 strangers and only received one bill. Splitting it was complicated.
