F.X. Buckley in Dublin

You came here for the steak. It is likely the best steak of your life. All of the sides (and we got pretty much one of everything) were wonderful too. I found I didn't use the pepper sauce - first time I had ever done that - but the seasoning was perfect and the steak didn't need it. We had a cocktail too - which was fine (and the serving of these was an event), but the real star was the meat. I look forward to going back soon.

This place will never ever disappoint you! Every location has its unique magic! Honestly one of my favs of all times! Thank you!

F.X. Buckley – Mediocrity Instead of Fine Dining Given the reputation of the establishment, the 340g sirloin was unfortunately only “good,” but not outstanding. The side dishes were bland: the purée lacked refinement, and the béarnaise was too dominant and unbalanced. The real weak point, however, was the service. I was refused permission to move from my assigned seat at the bar to other bar seats – allegedly because they were “reserved.” The fact that these seats were still empty 47 minutes later, and that after 1.5 hours I was actually the only remaining guest at the bar, makes this refusal incomprehensible. There was little sense of genuine hospitality or flexibility here. Conclusion: Solid steak, disappointing service. From F.X. Buckley, one simply expects a different level.

had a fantastic time, amazing steaks. ordered medium and got a bit medium rare but not bad at all and really tasty. desserts great as well. a bit pricey but really good food!

5 star experience! If you're a steak lover, then this restaurant is for you. Top notch in every way. Loved every thing about this intimate place. I'd go back and you should too. Make a res for sure.

Absolutely fantastic I went twice once for dinner and once for a late lunch. both times were outstanding the food was amazing cooked perfectly and the service was great. I'd I'm ever back in the area I will definitely visit again.

Unbelievable restaurant the steaks are amazing the best food I've had in a long time

The meat itself was delicious and cooked really well. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t quite match it. Service was slower than expected 40mins from ordering to it arriving. The chips looked like they’d been shown the fryer from a distance, and the broccoli was tough. A great steak, but at the price point, we expected better.

This place, was a wow factor.. we loved every moment from start to finish...food..was outstanding..and service..the best ever...

The cocktails are a different level. We had the negroni before dinner. The Cote de Bouef was just fabulous. Service was perfect but relaxed.
