GiGi in Dublin

Had dinner with the family for a family celebration. Starters were very good, if a bit on the small side. 3 people had ragu which was good but the seafood pasta in a bisque was very poor. The bisque is just a red sauce with no finesse and the prawns are cheap and hard as rocks. The nduga sausage pasta should be revisited and changed as it tastes like lemon with a few chilli flakes thrown in. The ingredients in the main pasta course's lets the food down a lot. On a positive note the staff are very friendly and atmosphere is great.

Food excellent. Service even better. Really authentic experience and so refreshing. It’s amazing to be around people who love their jobs. Wish this place every success.

Wow, what a fabulous find! Small, boutique Italian restaurant with outstanding gourmet pasta dishes, excellent private cellar wines and tasteful decor. Perfect atmosphere. Must make reservations as there are not too many tables.

Amazing staff so friendly and polite, service was super quick waiting no longer then 10 mins. Although €18 for a starter of prawns and calamari with only 2 prawns on the plate is daylight robbery. Pasta was super fresh and tasty as was desert. Definitely a bit over priced in general though.

Our entire experience in Gigi's from start to finish was nothing short of perfection. Our server was one of, if not the most attentive, engaging, helpful server I've had in any restaurant. His knowledge of the menu and how the food was prepared helped in deciding what to order. The food was pure beauty. From the presentation, flavour and how quick it arrived to our table. I honestly could not recommend this place enough. The entire team here go above and beyond for every customer.

Excellent food and excellent service flawless

We had a fantastic meal at Gigi in Ranelagh. The food was absolutely delicious – we started with the burrata, followed by the prawn pasta and the penne arrabbiata, with fries and broccolini on the side. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The staff were brilliant too – super friendly, and they created such a welcoming atmosphere. The whole place has a really authentic feel and a great vibe. I’d definitely recommend Gigi to anyone looking for excellent Italian food in Dublin, and we’ll absolutely be back!

Came here last weekend with my boyfriend and as soon as we came in we were greeted & treated very well, the Italian waiter was really helpful & all the workers there took care of us! Wine was really good & atmosphere in the place is really nice for drink
