Gilli Café in Dublin

Traditional caf like years ago good food always busy (good sign) seating in and they deliver

We loved it, we ordered the "full Irish" and in fact we left there quite full! A delight!

Super nice service with good food.

Lovely place for coffee and fresh scones/pastries. The boss is very nice and friendly. I came in for a coffee but I couldn't resist the smell of freshly baked raspberries scones, absolutely delicious!

This was a wonderful little find. While the decor is a little plain and simple do not let that put you off. Service was excellent. Seemed family run and they were just so lovely. Especially the chef, he showed a genuine interest in whether you were happy with the food. I also observed some local kids come in and call him by name, he greeted them with big smiles ans fist bumps. Food, top class! Beautifully presented and so fresh. Coffee was lovely. Excellent value for money, I had piached eggs and avocado for €7.5, just would not get that anywhere else. Menu had a nice selection of items. So if you ever find yourself that side of the city. Especially if your waiting on aomeone in the Coombe defo pay a visit. Even if it is just for a take away!! (They do food and drinks to take away too!)

Very good cafe. The menu is varied and the portions are generous. The prices are very good too. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Coffee is fabulous - and that is 99% of the way there as far as I am concerned. But add in their fabulous breakfast offerings (I've only been for breakfast) and you have the whole package. Staff are excellent and pricing is good. What more do you need?
