Glasson Lakehouse in

Lovely atmosphere at Christmas.

If I could give more than five stars I would. Everything about our stay at Glasson Lakehouse was exquisite. The staff were all very friendly, warm and professional. Mark the manager went above and beyond to make our stay very special, checking in throughout the course of our stay to ensure everything was to our liking. A highlight was definitely receiving a prenatal massage at the Brooks spa. Claire the masseuse was attentive and gentle, and Hilary the spa manager made us feel very comfortable, well looked after and relaxed. The sorbet offered in the relaxation room after the massage was a lovely touch! The landscape from the bedrooms is stunning and the rooms themselves are cozy and decorated with many personal touches (including a vinyl player) that make the room and the hotel unique. I can’t recommend Glasson Lakehouse more highly and look forward to my next visit.

This was my second time staying in Glasson. Unfortunately the quality of the food and service have really declined since my previous stay. All our party weren’t happy with any of our meals during our stay.

We had an unfortunate experience there last year and were invited back as a do-over by Emma and I cannot fault the hotel this time round. The staff in Bonnie’s were so sweet and accommodating & The reception and lounge staff were so friendly too. The food was stunning and the overall vibe of the hotel was perfect. Our room was beautiful and the facilities are fantastic. We will absolutely be back now, and I highly recommending the Glasson to anyone looking for a cozy weekend away. Thanks again guys!

Lovely hotel, decor is calming and relaxing. Views are outstanding. Food delicious and service was second to none

Quirky luxury with a touch of class.

The hotel is located next to a popular golf course and is therefore very busy. There are many families with children. The restaurant's offerings are rather limited, and the prices are, in my opinion, far too high. A ribeye steak cost €38.00. You have to walk through the restaurant to get to the outdoor pool in your bathrobe.

AM ONLY REVIEWING WALK IN SERVICE. Once again came in today and the bar service is absolutely non existent. One person behind the inside and outside bar and very slow servicing. Other customers seemed as agitated as me. For such a fine establishment this very important part is letting it down over and over. Table service was fine.
