The hotel is located next to a popular golf course and is therefore very busy. There are many families with children. The restaurant's offerings are rather limited, and the prices are, in my opinion, far too high. A ribeye steak cost €38.00. You have to walk through the restaurant to get to the outdoor pool in your bathrobe.

AM ONLY REVIEWING WALK IN SERVICE. Once again came in today and the bar service is absolutely non existent. One person behind the inside and outside bar and very slow servicing. Other customers seemed as agitated as me. For such a fine establishment this very important part is letting it down over and over. Table service was fine.

Booked one night in Glasson fairly last minute at a decent price during peak summer time! This place was so much better than I even imagined it would be! Recommend to me by family who have stayed here before, from the moment we arrived the service and friendliness of the staff was excellent and such a relaxing vibe throughout the hotel! We stayed in a classic room overlooking the golf course, room was very spacious, stylish and modern with cool decor. Also spotless! Gym is small but perfect for a workout during a night away. Outdoor pool is out of this world and you could be anywhere on a nice day. Our first night was so good we decided to stay a second one. Lady on reception was very helpful in getting us the same room again and allowing us to check in at 12! We dined both nights in Bonnie’s restaurant. The food here although on the pricey side is top notch. The portion sizes are excellent and couldn’t have any complaints, service also excellent! Breakfast both mornings was very good too! Hotel is very peaceful and the views are out of this world. Overall have not got a bad thing to say about this place and already cannot wait to return ! Many thanks to all for making our stay amazing!

Stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. Firstly we were so impressed by the location and general decor of the hotel & rooms and also the facilities including the outdoor pool and spa. The food itself is good however the service especially at both breakfasts we had was very disappointing. It seemed like staff were always in the middle of a task and we were bothering them and we were left waiting for most things. We were shown to our table and asked if we would like tea or coffee and on both mornings we didn’t receive it. After asking a couple more times we eventually received our tea & coffee but it’s not a great start to your breakfast. We also noticed on both mornings the help yourself area wasn’t replenished often enough with many guests standing around it waiting for staff to top things up. Overall, we had a lovely stay here and staff were generally friendly however I think if the basic service of breakfast could be looked at and improved it would be perfect.

We stayed at Glasson Lakehouse last weekend and it was absolutely perfect! From the warm welcome at reception to our beautiful room, amazing food, and fantastic amenities, everything exceeded our expectations. We loved the prosecco and hot tubs, relaxed in the heated outdoor pool, and I enjoyed an incredible treatment the next morning. Everything was gorgeous, we didn’t want to leave! Already planning my next stay for my fiancé’s 40th. Easiest 5 stars ✨️ Rebecca & friends x

Beautiful setting on the lake, big grounds, very luxurious and relaxing.

The experience at Glasson Lakehouse is incredible. The staff are genuine, kind and welcoming from start to finish. The food was on another level, the steak was the best I’ve ever had. The hotel is one of a kind with an incredible view of the lake that makes every moment feel peaceful and special. Always love to visit whenever possible.

The hotel itself was beautiful, set in a perfect location, and our room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the dining experience at Bonnie’s significantly let down our stay. We started with the chicken wings, which were disappointing. Our main courses—crispy pork belly and steak—were served almost cold. The pork lacked any crispiness, and the side salad with the steak was drenched in dressing, making it nearly inedible. The chocolate crème brûlée was also a letdown, with a flavor and texture that didn’t feel fresh. Sadly, breakfast didn’t redeem the experience either—it was underwhelming overall. Given the price point, we expected a much higher standard of food. We also used the hot tubs, which were lovely, though having to go to the bar to get a drink was a bit inconvenient. Everything else about the hotel was excellent, but the food really missed the mark for us.

We had a lovely dinner 🍽 A great setting, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
