Stunning food expertly presented. I have been keen to go here for a while and it did not disappoint. From the get go when they show the ingredients, to the variety of the set menu, the flavours and the presentation. Top notch. It was very quiet at lunch on a Thursday so not much atmosphere but it didn’t take away from the place. Good value for lunch too. Highly recommended.

Deadly spot for a cocktail and some snacks. The kimchi, pork, lettuce snack was a game changer 11/24: revisited and got the burger, steak and a starter of tuna tostada. Meal was great but not sure the seating or lighting is really catering for eaters. Enjoyed it all the same

27/06/2025: Pleasant layout above the pub, so you can have a drink before or after your meal. Our party of five can heartily recommend the specials at 35 euros for three courses, the fish dishes in particular were excellent. Service was very good. Interestingly, there were no condiments on the table, perhaps it's a culinary statement but as the seasoning was good there was no issue. Reasonable wine list. Definitely worth a visit.
27/06/2025: Laurel in Blackrock is a fantastic restaurant tucked away above the pub—a real hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing, beautifully presented on elegant plates that make the whole experience feel special. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere upstairs is stylish and relaxed, perfect for a nice evening out. The only downside is the music, which comes from the pub below and doesn’t quite match the refined setting of the restaurant. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit!

14/08/2025: Very nice food, service was great. Thursday afternoon so things were quiet and we were able to relax and enjoy our food.
12/08/2025: The roast beef was the star of the show and absolutely mouth watering—so tender and juicy! It was served in generous, thick slices on a bed of creamy mash and stuffing, and topped with a fresh green garnish. The presentation was excellent, with the meal laid out beautifully on a large plate. The side dishes were just as impressive; the french fries were perfectly golden in a stylish metal bucket, and the beautiful mixed vegetables in the side bowl were delicious. The rich, dark gravy served in its own silver boat was the perfect accompaniment, and the entire meal was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend you sample it for yourself!
