Went for a late lunch on Saturday with my wife.
She ordered the Caesar salad, and I had the club sandwich. We had 2 teas and one Jaffa cake between us. €33.
The food was FAB, and the service was very good. A proper pot of tea and a big cup.
There were only about another 5 or 6 people while we were there, but it would only hold about 20 inside and 3 or 4 tables outside max.
The egg benadick looked great.
Next time.

I ate Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine for the first time in my life. It was so delicious that I will definitely make it again. If you've never had it, I recommend checking out Garden Cafe. Very nice atmosphere. Wonderful service, everything fresh and beautifully presented. If you don't know what you want, the ladies give great advice. And it was the boss's idea to try Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine this time. Thank you Lidia.
We will definitely go back there again😘

Cozy Café with a Pricy Hot Water Policy
This café exudes a warm and inviting ambiance that beckons you to unwind and indulge. Upon entering, I was greeted by friendly staff who were more than happy to assist with any inquiries.
While perusing the menu, I stumbled upon their enticing array of energy balls and decided to give one a try. The energy ball certainly lived up to its reputation, boasting a delightful burst of flavor that left me craving for more.
However, my experience took a sour turn when I decided to accompany my snack with a simple cup of hot water. To my dismay, I was charged an additional 50 cents for the hot water alone, despite making a separate purchase. This unexpected charge left me feeling somewhat perplexed, especially considering that I brought my own cup.
Although the quality of service was commendable and the café exuded a cozy atmosphere, I couldn't shake off the feeling of dissatisfaction regarding the hot water charge. It seems counterintuitive to levy such a fee, particularly when other establishments offer it complimentary.
In conclusion, while I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the delectable offerings of this café, the hot water incident left a bitter aftertaste. If not for this peculiar pricing policy, I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to others seeking a cozy retreat with delicious treats.
Update after owner's reply:
After a considerate response from the café owner explaining their hot water policy, I now understand and support their decision to introduce a fee. I appreciate their dedication to sustaining their business in challenging times and have adjusted my rating to 5 stars accordingly. Let's continue to support local businesses like this one.

Surprisingly stylish and delightful cafe. Popped in on my way back from an errand and was pleasantly surprised. The food was well presented and of a high quality. The deserts in particular were very tasty. I had a coffee, toasted sandwich and desert which came to 18 euro but that's Dublin for ya! But the quality of food was good so I will be back.

Nice place, cozy and great atmosphere. Well made coffee and good food! Average price.
Didn’t have a good experience with staff, not welcoming and rude when taking orders. Overall good place around Walkinstown area.
