Myself + 2 friends had lunch here today. It's a small no frills cafe but with just incredible food, service and extremely reasonable prices. Myself + sister had mixed platter of lamb, chicken + kofta with rice + spicey sauces. Our friend had lamb tangine. Really generous portions.. enough food for 4/5 people & everything tasted fresh & delicious. They even offered to box up leftovers! The platter was €13 each. At Golden Olive it's all about good food and how they cook it. Going to try their takeaway service next. Don't go on Fridays as car park always full.

The mixed grill platter is good. Meat is grilled to the right level and is tender. We ordered at the counter and they sent the food to table. Staff are warm and friendly. We enjoyed our meal.

Food is excellent. Huge menu, from middle east to south Asia, all kinds of food, dessert items. It is self serving, more like one's kitchen pantry. You take what you like. Very affordable and friendly people. Indian dishes have a very tomato based sauce, just the way I like it. Couscous, tajine, chicken, lamb curry, even veggie dishes are good.
