Gourmet Shankill Cafe-Restaurant in Dublin

Went there today for a quick bite as this was closest eating place to Shanganagh Park. The ladies were very polite & friendly. The cafe in itself seemed a bit outdated & poorly lit. Outdoors is def better option when weather permits. Had iced coffee which was below average with one cube of ice floating in the coffee instead of crushed ice. The carrot cake was also average, not great. Could try their breakfast offering next time but the sausage rolls on display looked a bit dry.

Was there with my kids waiting to give are ordered for 15 to 20 mins people came in after us got the food and all had enough at that stage got up and walked out the man didn't even appear to give a shit about it very rude that work there not going back 😑

I go to gourmet Shankill occasionally when I need good food. My last visit was no exception. I had a 4 egg omelette,chips, and a cappuccino. I have now found a café that serves the best omelette I have had. The staff were on point the meal came out in good time and the prices were pretty good. I hope to go back very soon.

Walked in and straight back out, staff were so rude, like we were a problem to them. Didnt want to spend any money in there.

Went here since we heard they do Ukrainian food . Basic selection of items . We tried borsch - it was just ok, pelmeni - I think they were store bought, but quite tasty and varrnyky. Varenyky was my main problem : I ordered ones with cheese( so since they are sweet they come with sweet sauce) but half the portion was with potato ! And potato btw were better. But still a weird mistake. Service is very nice and kind , so I believe it was a honest mistake.
