Gourmet Shankill Cafe-Restaurant in Dublin

Went here since we heard they do Ukrainian food . Basic selection of items . We tried borsch - it was just ok, pelmeni - I think they were store bought, but quite tasty and varrnyky. Varenyky was my main problem : I ordered ones with cheese( so since they are sweet they come with sweet sauce) but half the portion was with potato ! And potato btw were better. But still a weird mistake. Service is very nice and kind , so I believe it was a honest mistake.

Just walking along getting ready to head into the mountains got hungry coming out of the park and low and behold there it is an awesome lunch!

Met friend had coffee nice, large place...in off main road only my friend told me about it I don't think I'd ever have gone there..little businesses like small industrial estate....W Pleasant staff🙂

We were early for a weekend with friends, so we pulled in off the N11 for a snack. The tea and coffee were really good at €2.80 and €3.25 respectively. The soup was delicious snd was served with brown bread and butter. Very filling and felt nourishing. The Tuna melt was substantial and tasty. The young staff could not have been more pleasant and were constantly busy serving, clearing tables and checking that customers were happy. The toilets were pristine. The bill was €22.54 which we considered very reasonable. A very pleasant spot to visit.

We went yesterday early for breakfast with a group from 6 to 80s!!!! Ann was so patient taking our rather complicated order! Tad cooked us an excellent breakfast! It was freshly cooked tasty and excellent value. We had a lovely happy relaxed family outing. Thanks to Ann Tad and all the staff. Breakfast was excellent

Great little spot and the food is always on the money. I go for the Caesar Salad but have tried a few things, perfect!!. Its the best by far in the area or near by for your lunch! So quick to serve you and always very fresh. Celine on the counter is a pleasure, at this stage knows my order without fail. Great for a coffee aswell! Price is great for what you get! Great portions.
