Lovely place with a lot of games to play, snooker tables and a great vibe!

Very spacious place even if hidden, in the Smithfield district, 15 minutes from the center of Dublin. The structure is on several floors, excellent for studying, playing and having fun with friends. The idea is that of a hostel, warm and welcoming. Equipped with numerous comforts, the place is designed to spend more hours, therefore ideal for the city of Dublin. The staff is young but a little slow. The presence of games such as ping pong and billiards is positive. Negative notes are the lights that are too dim, the opening hours could be longer and the slightly high prices for both food and drink. Very high potential

The drinks were good and our server Ayano was very nice.

Fabulous day at the gen bar, Benjamin was our bartender and he was lovely, very welcoming and made the day that bit better. Good prices, would definitely return!

I visited Gen Bar with some friends and had a better experience than I expected. The bar is located in Smithfield, inside the Generator Hostel, and offers a wide variety of food and drink options. I can't forget to thank Juliane; she's an incredible bartender who made the experience even better. I highly recommend it.
