Great Wall House in Dublin

17/07/2026: Not a terrible place to stay especially if you’re not planning on spending time in your room. The bathrooms are a little old and could use some more cleaning but it was doable. Beds were plenty comfortable enough. Bedding was clean. Odd you have to pay to have a towel so just keep that in mind. But the place was cool. Has shuffl, pool tables and activities each night.

21/05/2026: This hostel is a good location in Dublin. It is very centralized in downtown Dublin making everything very close by and walkable. The hostel is more of a party hostel with constant activities going on here. This is an interesting aspect, as we could hear music going throughout the night and shaking out room. The rooms are also not very "soundproof" and we were able to hear the room next to us along with the hallway very easily. We also frequently heard what I imagine to be drunken individuals screaming in the hallways from 2 - 4 AM. This resulted in poor sleep multiple nights. The room itself is quite nice, with cute murals on the walls. The bathroom is small, but very adequate for what is needed. The only note I would say is that the shower drain needs to be cleaned as it would take a long time to drain and it was obvious there was hair blockage. One final note is that if you want towels included you do have to pay extra for them to be included.
