Griolladh in Dublin

Very friendly staff make for a great atmosphere and a very good grilled cheese sambo.

Probably one of the best cheese toasties I've had in years. So good I got another to share with my little one as she ate her cookie from there.

Toasties, everyone loves them and they're basically impossible to do wrong. Unless you charge too much for them and/or overcomplicate a simple formula. I have had a nice toastie from Griolladh but I have also had a very bad Toastie from Griolladh. Very uncomfortable atmosphere in an odd location. Less is more, if you want a toastie, go to Griolladh but keep your order simple to avoid disappointment.

Lads,great food,great central location,lot of tension between staff and manager(think he's the manager).Made the visit really uncomfortable, but the food was good.

The sandwiches were all very delicious, we didn’t have to wait long until they were all done (6 people in total) and the staff was very kind. The chairs and tables outside could be more comfy and bigger but I guess it’s mainly made for take away anyways. Definitely recommendable for a quick snack/bite on the go although probably not the cheapest

Don't know if I went into this with high hopes, but was expecting much better. Little to no taste from the fillings, all I could get was a taste of butter and grease. Had to go get something else afterwards to get the taste out of my mouth. The staff was very nice and friendly, and I wasn't waiting long for the sandwich.

Had the Hambo, decent sandwich. Although the bread becomes soggy quickly so eat fast. I can see why it's popular. There is some limited counter style seating along the window. Friendly staff. A few bottles of hot sauce would have been nice for those dining-in.

We found the toasts very good, we were served by two young boys who prepared the toasts with care

Simply put… wow! I’m an Irish American exploring my home country for the first and was walking around Temple Bar looking for coffee when I came across this grilled cheese store. A lovely lady (who I found out later is the manager) made us the most amazing coffee we’ve ever had. The other staff member was also very friendly, guy with an epic moustache. Totally gonna come back to Europe for her coffee again

The ham & cheese sandwich (first item on the menu) is probably the best you will ever had for this price, absolutely delicious!
