Grove Road Cafe in Dublin

These are our top eats in Dublin. Grove Road Cafe - for brunch (we went twice) situated right on the canal, breakfast with a view. Irish cafes have a smaller menu on weekdays but still served bangers. Didn't hurt that it was opposite our hotel. Great spot if your in the Camden/Portobello area. Super attentive service, if they spilled your coffee even a little bit, came straight back with a new saucer. Poached eggs always popped, flat whites on point. Benny’s to die for (thats brunch talk for Eggs Benedict). Weekends have a fuller menu including a Frenchie (French Toast) and a Brisket Benny. Weekdays the Poached eggs with pesto was class, and so were the pancakes. We got straight in during the week, and had a short wait on the Sunday

If you're one of those people that have your regular spot at a local caffeine, you'll immediately recognize that this is definitely the vibe here. If you're one of the people who wish to have such a spot, this is the place for you. We came here twice and had a great time. The food is great, they have vegetarian and vegan options, the dishes are fairly big and everything is delicious. The staff is just amazing. Even when the place is packed they're super nice and welcoming to everybody, old and young. This is definitely the place to spend your mornings, brunches and lunches.

Highly recommended caffe, we ordered the avocado fetta smash and it was absolutely delicious!! Coffee is okay 👍🏻, it can get noisy from the traffic but all in all amazing caffe. will come again definitely 👌🏻💯

Delicious food and fantastic place! ☀️🍽️ Go early to get a seat! There isn't much space, but that's part of its charm. I recommend the beetroot latte over the beetroot juice 👌🏼

Coffee is decent. Staff is cool. However owners are clearly squishing this place for profit. Why the hell it closes 4pm and not like 7pm at least?

Small, cute cafe. Breakfast was really good, and not terribly expensive. I'd go back.

They had no white sugar. I asked and the woman working there told me "We don't have any white sugar. Clearly confused I asked "Do you just not have it today... or...?" and she answered "No. We don't use white sugar". I'm not sure why but it really felt like I shouldn't ask WHY they don't use white sugar. Is there a reason white sugar is inferior? Baffled. What's wrong with white sugar?

Nice space. Service seemed a bit stressed. Pastry and cake selection looked poor. I'm guessing it's Cuisine de France pastries and Around Noon cakes. I didn't order food but the people beside me did and it looked lovely.

The staff, food & drinks here were a 10/10 this morning! Couldn’t fault a thing. The juices were among the best we’ve ever had. The Granola and the Açai bowls were delicious. Coffee was excellent too. But the kindness of the staff and their eagerness to please was what made our visit so special. Thank you!
