This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. For anyone with gluten intolerance or coeliac disease Gursha is an absolute must! Everything on the menu is delicious and will delight vegans and meat eaters alike. The atmosphere is cosy and calm and it is a real treat to be able to taste authentic injera, honey wine and even Ethiopian beer here in Ireland.
The place is very nice but the food is not spicy at all. Being married to an Ethiopian and having had traditional foods this wasn’t what you would get at a restaurant in the US or in Addis. It tasted good but you couldn’t really get the hints of Berbere like you normally would.
The coffee is actually Ethiopian coffee which was nice. And the injera was nice and fluffy.
Its good Ethiopian place in Dublin, they do use a lot of Lentils in food for veggie people; plus the injera was good but was a bit extra sour, maybe bad day or they make it like that;
It is around 22e (June ‘25) so thats that too
Great first experience in an Ethiopian restaurant. Eating with your hands is surprising, but you get used to it quickly. For those who are put off by it, cutlery is provided. The Ethiopian bread was very tasty, and the system of different dishes on one plate is really cool. Vegetarian friendly.
My apologies, everything was so good I forgot to take photos, but I'll send you one of the beer; it's a lager.
Order the one with all the dishes so you can try a little bit of everything 🧆🍛
The fermented crepes are very good.
Mi primera experiencia con la cocina etíope. Los platos están bien presentados y con buenas porciones. Gran sabroso, pero la comida es un poco grasienta.
