We have been customers of the H&G branch in the Swan Centre Rathmines since it opened. In fact it is why we chose to do our supermarket shopping there. It was with dismay that we saw last night workmen dismantling the cafe. Your product was very good, coffee, pastries and apple tarts too. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, particularly the French lady. What happened to cause this closure??

This is a very small café that sells pastries and baked goods. The place looks really cute, but there isn’t enough seating. The atmosphere is lovely. I had high hopes for the pastries and tried the pain au chocolat and croissants—the chocolate they used was quite dark, which isn’t really to my taste.

15/06/2025: The staff is lovely and so friendly, they made me feel like home with their hospitality. The food was phenomenal. Portions were big (the one you see is one portion split into two person) and the prices are so affordable. I’m genuinely shocked and couldn’t help myself thinking how do they serve this good food with this affordable prices and still make the money to keep the business running. Lütenisa and kaymak comes as appetizers, the owner told us that he’s been working on perfecting their bread and the bread he served us was ammmmazing as well, a big shoutout for his own recipe.

26/06/2025: My favorite tea place in Dublin. I drink their tea every morning. The staff are so kind, and the dessert portions are generous.
21/06/2025: Such a great spot that Dublin is lucky to have. So many choices of really good quality Tea, and the coffee is the best I've ever tasted. Got a very friendly greeting as I enter the space and was helped choose my brew. We sat and had their chilli Eggs dish & a gorgeous sandwich, which was on sourdough and was very tasty and filling. It is a peaceful spot with super cool vibes. The music was perfect and it all had a scandavian feel. My dog even got a free treat from the owner I think, which was so kind. I stayed on after and had an Apple & Mistletoe tea with a very fresh tasty Carrot cake and a Matcha cookie. 10/10.
