We drank half a pint of beer and soaked up the local atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. What I can't understand is why you can't order food at eight o'clock on a Saturday? Because the kitchen is closed. Guys... learn to earn money. It's a bright evening outside. Tourists are walking from establishment to establishment to buy food, but there's nothing. This is, of course, terrible... but it's not just this pub. That's why I still give it a five.

A very cozy local pub, nice and fast service. A pleasant warmth flows from the crackling fire in the fireplace. A large selection of beers is available on tap, including local specialties.

Authentic Irish Pub in Howth. Very cozy, happy atmosphere, great variety of drinks and liquors. Very friendly waiters. There is a splendid terrace where you can enjoy sunny days. We recommend it, we will return.

08/06/2025: Kingfisher is one of those no-frills spots that totally hits the spot when you’re craving something simple and satisfying. The place is clean and neatly kept, with a kind of old-school charm. Nothing fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. Service is quick, prices are super affordable, and the food feels like comfort on a plate. The potato wedges and prawn cocktail are fan favorites for a reason — definitely worth trying. And if you’ve got room after your meal, grab some jelly or ice cream to finish it off. Great little spot for a low-key bite!
