Hardy's Bar in Dublin

Super hotel in the heart of Dùn Laoghaire. Lovely atmosphere and good service. Very spacious also. Near public transport for city centre.

Met friend for coffee. Service and locale excellent as ws the coffee.

We stay in the Royal Marine everytime we come to Ireland as it's usually one of the few ones available in the area and the location is actually quite great. However, the rooms are usually average at best and subpar for the prices charged. We seem to get only aweful rooms in this hotel. To be fair, they are clean, but from rooms not being ready at 8:30 p.m. on the day of arrival, to heating not working in the middle of winter, to uneven floors and hopelessly outdated bathrooms, this hotel leaves much to be desired. Beautiful hotel in a great location!

Great location near the harbor. We got an "upgraded" room. Not entirely sure what that means. It was large enough and had a sofa but not a great view - rooftops, alley way.

Stunning hotel in a lovely location at a good price on Booking.com. Check-in and staff were very polite and professional. We didn't have breakfast here and ventured out to a local breakfast cafe just around the corner which offered better choice of food and at a cheaper cost. Underground car park on site was free and had limited spaces on arrival but we did arrive quite late. Space was tight getting our car in and out so larger vehicles will struggle depending on what spaces are free. We took the train into Dublin and the station was conveniently located nearby. Room was excellent with good air con but the view was awful. Worst view I had in any hotel ive stayed in. The view basically was staring at a wall opposite and no point opening the curtains! I didn't expect a Seaview but having no view at all was a disappointment. Would happily stay here if visiting Dublin again in the future.

Great location to dart train,great breakfast.great service.

Dropped in for a soup and sandwich lunch. Very comfortable lounge. But service was slow and the soup was awful. More like gloop than soup. Sandwich was okay but would it kill them to pour a dressing on the, rather plain, salad that comes with it?

We only popped in for a drink all the staff we interacted with were delightful. It’s just a bit tired, a bit untidy and the bar area very much smelt of fried food, which was a bit unpleasant. Sadly it’s not for us.
