Hellfire in Dublin

Update, March 2024: Unfortunately, the Hellfire couldn't maintain the good quality. ;( The open show kitchen no longer exists, and there is no longer pizza either. The birthday cake has also been abolished. We celebrated our second birthday here today and it wasn't the same. There wasn't even a happy birthday greeting, even though it was registered as a birthday party when booking! The staff is very friendly, but overwhelmed and doesn't ask for more drinks or food. We had to constantly ask. Our friendly waitress from the beginning (Marina) suddenly left and another (also friendly) waiter (Emanuele) took over. In the end, when we asked why everything had changed, this waiter also said that there was a new chef who changed the concept and that even people on the staff (!) didn't like it as much as they used to. People at the next table who knew it differently were also irritated and seemed disappointed; The waitress Marina also explained to these people that it was because of the new chef. The food is still delicious, although it's a shame that the steaks are pre-cut. This means they cool down quickly. Halfway through the rest was cold. In addition, everything is arranged a bit carelessly. That used to be better too. Unfortunately, the unique atmosphere is gone and the waiters also seem dissatisfied. A pity! August 2023: We had a very nice evening. The open show kitchen is spectacular and the service is very friendly. The food is extremely tasty and the prices are absolutely reasonable. This not only applies to the perfect steaks, but also starters and desserts. The Hellfire deserves an unreserved recommendation; 5 Stars.

We had a great meal, perhaps the best place to have a meat dinner in Dublin. Truly highly recommended

This place was poor value for money overall. I ordered the striploin medium rare. The steak was already pre-sliced when it arrived and was definitely rare in the middle with the fat having not been rendered whatsoever. It only comes with a small amount of rocket with balsamic vinegar on top so we ordered sides. The sides were small and mediocre (mushrooms and mash potatoes). The garlic butter sauce was also a bit bland. The atmosphere was ok but nothing special compared to the price point. The main dining area is cold and you are constantly blasted with cold air from customers coming in and out. Save yourself the trip and head somewhere else.

Very good meat. Accompanied by grilled vegetables it is a marvel for the palate. Heartwarming welcome. We ate in the basement. Very nice white tiled room Substantial price but totally justified

We really enjoyed our evening here. The decor is beautiful. we sat in a small room at the back with a beautiful tree (see picture). Our waiter was very good he explained the best beef for me to get as I wanted it medium. For starters, we had Taco Mignon these we so delicious. For mains, we both had fillet steak with Mac & Cheese, Canadian style baby potatoes and chips. Everything was gorgeous. I was sceptical bout the Mac & Cheese as I've been disappointed so many times when ordering it, but OMG, it was delicious, just like making it at home. (I was so happy). For desert, we had tiramisu and red velvet cake. We would definitely recommend going here.

HELLFIRE came highly recommend and Did Not Disappoint!!!!!! The appetizers to dessert were fabulous! Especially enjoyed the filet steak!

Great hospitality. Food was great. Array of flavors from seafood to steak. A must if you’re visiting Dublin!

A stunning restaurant in the heart of Dublin. The food was incredible, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The atmosphere and décore are beautiful. The staff are very friendly and the service was impeccable. A gem not to be missed.

I booked a table for 9 people Yesterday night and gave us a table on the second floor .It was a very pleasant experience, a very nice atmosphere, the quality of meat Is Amazing and all the temperature was perfectly cooked, excellent service from the waiter Emanuele. We will definitely come back...
