Probably every mature Irish Senior knows or simply "heard" about this PARADISE. They should be proud that Republic of Independent IRELAND guarantee highest quality accomodation on the " international world arena". No shame... I hope that people placed there rather... don't complain - at least , that's what I think 🤔 Everything at least buttoned up ❗

Nice hotel near the CitywestHightech Campus. Easily accessible from the airport but located directly on the motorway. Therefore, it is better to ask for a quiet room. Checkin was okay, housekeeping was super friendly and hardworking. Good breakfast, although it was quite loud around the bar and barista machine, with unnecessary clattering of dishes. Nice gym!

A large hotel complex combining comfort and extensive facilities. Although it is a little far from the city center, it offers a peaceful stay to its guests with its green areas and calm atmosphere (these guests have been immigrants for a while). The hotel, which is suitable for business and leisure travelers, has many facilities such as conference halls, a golf course and a spa.

Rugged Lane Restaurant

01/02/2025: Lovely to have such good quality food locally. Really pleased with our visit. You'd pay more in town plus the taxis.
14/12/2024: Food was out of this world. Loved my leek and spud soup and Guinness bread. The main blade of beef just fell apart absolutely sumptuous and accompanying veg. The sides of beef drip chips and garlic roasties were amazing. Only thing let this place down was the service as someone had to ask 3 times for their drink at our table. I wouldn't be so harsh but €75 per head you should not let the slightest thing slip like that. Will defo come back in future for a special occasion.

The Rock Bar

23/03/2025: No food but great bar very friendly service. Good local pub.
05/10/2024: We stayed there one night. It is a prefabricated house close to the road (noise at night), however we recommend it for the proximity to Kilkenny, the included breakfast and the good treatment with the hostess. We had never been in a prefabricated house like this, very large, spacious living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
