The receptionist wasn't very friendly and eyed us suspiciously. You can't open the window, and it's unclear why there's a jacuzzi in the bathroom—it doesn't work. The outlets are really bad—there's only one under the desk. Lighting is a separate issue—you have to hide under the nightstand to turn it off. Old-fashioned is nice, but in this case, it's overkill.

One of the best Hotels in Europe. The scenic beauty and the vast landscaped parkland of 240 acres is feast for the eyes. It is a large hotel with 750+rooms and with 18 hole golf course. The rooms with classic style are spacious and the staff are very cooperative. Our stay here was pleasant. Ideally located and not very far from Dublin Airport. One difficulty which we faced was the access to our rooms being the building is very large and the location was through many turns through long corridors. We enlisted the landscapes and the serene atmosphere.
