Really nice dog friendly pub. The history is impressive and so was the food. We only tried the seafood linguini and they were delicious!

Absolutely incredible experience at The Hole in the Wall! ☘️🍻 We visited this historic Irish pub as a family after spending time in Phoenix Park, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Dublin. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic — authentic, warm, welcoming, and full of Irish character. If you want to experience traditional Celtic/Irish music, this is definitely a place you should visit. Sitting there, listening to the music, enjoying a drink, and soaking up the atmosphere felt like a truly authentic Irish experience. The pub itself is fascinating and full of history, which makes the visit even more special. It is one of those places where you can really feel the spirit and traditions of Dublin. Our whole family had an absolutely wonderful time, and we left with great memories. I would highly recommend The Hole in the Wall to anyone visiting Dublin — whether you’re looking for great Irish music, history, atmosphere, or simply an unforgettable pub experience. Absolutely nice and authentic pub. We were having some beers there and Martin was the best host, extremely nice and helpful with us for our Ireland trip. I wish I could have a couple of days more in Dublin just to come again! Thank you so much!

A wonderful family and dog friendly bar grill. Great food served by friendly staff in unusually decorated rooms . Christmas time decorations a real must visit.
