Great place for office party plans

Came for lunch with a friend. No one was around to know if we just sat ourselves or had to wait to be seated. Eventually found someone to get a table. Ordered the fish and chips which were fantastic. Nice crispy batter that wasn't too thick, soft juicy fish inside and crispy chips that had some nice seasoning on them. Servers were nice, and restaurant was clean.

Slow food service. Would be great with live music

Nice outdoor area, great curry chips. Perfect for few pints before or after a game.

Here with a huge out of town crowd for an American football game. Great atmosphere and they tried hard with limited staff.

The beef hamburger was fine, nothing too special, the fries was good! And the staffs are very friendly.

I’d highly recommend this place for events! The beer garden is an absolute gem, and Holly—the events coordinator—was fantastic. The team was super attentive, the finger food was delicious, and there were great vegetarian and gluten-free options. The staff, especially the waiters, were so nice. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our civil ceremony. Everyone was amazed by the venue!

I was surprised to read the negative reviews below (though they seem to have improved since 2023-24) because we had an excellent experience at Horse Show House last night. No reservation, we just walked in off the street at about 7 p.m. and were met by Ella -- so nice, friendly and helpful! She got us seated quickly and we got drink and food orders in very efficiently. Notably, a fellow who seemed to be a manager stopped by after the orders were in, just to make sure we were being taken care of. We both ordered Guinness and the food came out so fast that it landed before our pints did -- beef stew for me and lasagna for my wife, and both were excellent. A bustling spot that time of night, with a mix of older and younger people; we were seated near the front bar, and the bartenders joked with a couple of locals who were sitting near us. Very pleasant, couldn't ask for more. Special thanks to Ella who took such good care of us.

Estaba tratando con Holly y William - ambos absolutamente excepcional, muy servicial y muy sensible. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, el servicio era fantástico, gran relación calidad-precio, gran lugar.
