Great spot before games. All round good pub

I had a lovely toasted sandwich and a decent pint.

It's cool! Rather tidy inside with TVs to watch the sport.. with a large 'garden' area that can cater for lots of people enjoying themselves. The drink and service was good 👍

We enjoyed our food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The interior felt cozy and very authentic.

I was surprised to read the negative reviews below (though they seem to have improved since 2023-24) because we had an excellent experience at Horse Show House last night. No reservation, we just walked in off the street at about 7 p.m. and were met by Ella -- so nice, friendly and helpful! She got us seated quickly and we got drink and food orders in very efficiently. Notably, a fellow who seemed to be a manager stopped by after the orders were in, just to make sure we were being taken care of. We both ordered Guinness and the food came out so fast that it landed before our pints did -- beef stew for me and lasagna for my wife, and both were excellent. A bustling spot that time of night, with a mix of older and younger people; we were seated near the front bar, and the bartenders joked with a couple of locals who were sitting near us. Very pleasant, couldn't ask for more. Special thanks to Ella who took such good care of us.

Great place for drinking in big groups with pubs menu to enjoy some bites of nice burgers or fish and chips. Really ideal for big groups after work or to watch the Match
