Highly recommend House of Reads. Seda is the best barrista in Dublin. Always a friendly welcome when I call in for my coffee. It’s what makes you return to the cafe. Well done Seda on making best latte in Dublin.

Amazing coffee experience in the heart of Dublin! I visited the place yesterday and I was served by an amazing young girl who despite being alone and really busy, was friendly and polite, always with a smile! She could have definitely used some help, but regardless she was super friendly and made an amazing coffee! I will definitely be back.

Review for The House of Read Café, Dublin I recently visited “The House of Read” in the heart of Dublin with a friend, and we loved it so much that we returned the very next day! This cozy, welcoming spot quickly became a highlight of our trip. The ambiance is perfectly set for a relaxing coffee or meal, with beautiful decor that makes you feel right at home. On both days, we tried the soup of the day served with freshly baked soda bread—so flavorful and hearty, it was just what we needed on a chilly Dublin afternoon. We paired it with their teas and a cinnamon roll that was, hands down, one of the best we’ve had. Everything was so fresh, and you could taste the quality in every bite. The staff were exceptional. On our second visit, the barista (whose name I sadly didn’t catch) surprised us with some complimentary chocolate, which was such a sweet touch and made us feel even more welcomed. The service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional, which made our experience all the more memorable. If you’re in Dublin, I can’t recommend “The House of Read” enough. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve found a little hidden gem, and you’ll leave with both a happy stomach and a big smile!

It's a great place with a cosy atmosphere. They are having an amazing hot chocolate, made with actual chocolate. Also the chocolate/pralines they offer are delicious and of great quality. A must visit for hot chocolate and chocolate lovers.

Maximilians Bistro

21/12/2024: Absolutely amazing experience at Maximilian Restaurant in Blanchardstown last night! The food was out of this world—every dish was finger-licking good, including the desserts. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. To make our evening even more special, we were surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine and the most delicious tiramisu. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for anyone looking for great food and a lovely evening out. Can’t wait to return!
19/12/2024: Came here for a Christmas lunch & I have just a tiny critique: I was sitting in the back room at a slightly awkward seat but it was accessible. When the food arrived I was handed it from across the table & the plate was scorching hot, apparently the waiter said "the plate is hot", I didn't hear him as the room was loud, it was busy & I was sitting at the far side of the table. The waiter gladly placed the hot plate in my bare hands 🙈please ensure this doesn't happen again & take a couple of extra steps to place the plate in front of your customers. Other than that the staff are friendly, restaurant was lovely & food was good.
