Il Fornaio in Dublin

hi ive been here a few times. the bruschetta is very good and the portion size is great. the pastries are really lovely and there was a certain staff member who was very helpful with the customers and very nice who was called lucille i think, blonde and beautiful. the coffee is also good. the pasta portion sizes are on the smaller side for sure but they taste good.

The most amazing establishment I have ever stepped foot in; my heart yearns for this humble café since I left the city… It is as though a part of me resides there and when I am depart from Dublin’s smoky visage I am leaving a piece of my soul behind. If only I could visit this place for the first time once more, but alas, I can never return. Like an estranged lover, it remains in my mind yet far out of reach. As I lay here writing this review in the twilight of my life I reminisce on this oasis. It stands there, a lone lighthouse as I navigate the dark, volatile waters of my life.

I have so much fun every single time I come at this place and this is only thanks to Marco, Samuele and Anda! They are amazing, very welcoming, always ready to have fun with you, chat about everything and just make your coffee break the best you could have during the day. I've come a good amount of times at the Fornaio, but when I find this trio working together, I already know it's going to be a great day. You can pull jokes with Sam and Marco, while Anda has a contagious smile! They are great people and they deserve all the best! Hope the owner recognises their efforts in making this place way better than others. It's also the people who work in a place who make it special. Can't recommend any better choice than interacting with them!

All fresh and tasty ingredients of high quality, 5 star service from Italian professional waiters. Bread and soup so tasty. Highly recommended.

The pasta is really good, and as an Italian, I'd say it's better than some restaurants in Italy. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Great place, the service is amazing! I am italian and was here with school, everything was authentic italian recipes, with amazing quality, especially the pasta. The staff has no problem talking in italian if needed. And the prices are honest and similar to what you'd find in italy(which is low compared to everywhere else in dublin). A couple of guys working here are actually from italy, so the authenticity is guaranteed! The waitress, is very kind and cheerful, and if some mistake happens in the kitchen, she has no problem in apologizing. All of the staff is welcoming and we made friends with them almost as soon as we found out about them. Incredible restaurant, it feels like being with family, we'd definitely come back if given the chance
