absolutely beautiful castle and very breathtaking. My bathroom wasn't fully cleaned but all other amenities were in order. I wish the bar or some food stayed open later and the front staff were incredibly friendly. I would definitely try this place again.

Clontarf Castle is a nice retreat from the city. Nestled in the suburbs of North Dublin, it's quaint and affordable! The beds are so nice we almost slept our vacation away!

The whole crew very helpful and kind from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, the breakfast plentiful and the place is just great! The hotel is a little too far from the city center, it would be nice if there as a shuttle service, but apart from that everything was great.

Booked an executive family room for family of 3. Couldn’t be happier! We will absolutely be back! They went out of their way to be welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very quiet and comfortable. Easy to get to also by taxi or even bus. Amazing place

Gorgeous hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The Knights Bar, where we dined and had drinks was delicious, and right there on site.

McHugh's Wine & Dine

22/04/2025: This is a gem of a neighbourhood restaurant. Great for casual, celebration, friends, family or even on your own. Very good with kids. The food is always delicious and the staff really pleasant. One of the few restaurants that I usually go for fish, as it is invariably cooked perfectly. However, you will not be disappointed with the meat options either. Can never resist a sticky toffee pudding to finish off.
