The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the TV had no internet connection, so streaming services like Netflix or phone mirroring weren’t available. Additionally, service in the Knights Bar was sub par considering how many people they had working there.

We stayed there as a family in December 2023. The atmosphere, the Christmas decorations—it was magical. A fantastic hotel. We'd love to go back!

Wonderful hotel with great aesthetic. Friends and I spent a couple nights there for the Christmas holiday and it was fantastic! The drinks were great, the good was phenomenal (I especially enjoyed the duck confit legs), and the live music was wonderful. Would stay again for sure!

The standard rooms are okay. Nothing stands out as especially good or bad. The breakfast was good. The staff were very nice and helpful, no hints of annoyance with tourists.
Laundry service was VERY expensive. Approximately $200 for three days worth of clothes.

Stayed here last night for work. Booked a twin room for myself and a colleague. The exterior is beautiful, as are the common areas; unfortunately, the bedroom was just about average. Staff at check in were lovely but we arrived to the room to find 2 single beds pushed together with a single headboard. We asked for them to be separated which was done, but this left one of us with no headboard and the plugs were now behind the pillows of the bed. The room (203) was small, dark and pretty basic, though the shower was nice. We ate in the bar where the food was only ok, it took over 50 minutes to arrive (we only had one course) and the service was poor. Breakfast was ok, the usual variety. Disappointed overall.

Not a 4-star hotel. Balloon-like pillows and a hard bed. Had such a neck ache after the first night we considered moving hotels, just too much trouble on a short timeline. WiFi was non existent, and I was trying to do some work and school, so that was a problem. We are not fancy people - not high maintenance. The bottom line - I would not stay here because it’s more like a 2-3 star property, at best with no WiFi, from our experience. Know that’s what you are in for, if you book here. On a positive note, their restaurant, Farenheight, was great!

We used Clontarf Castle Hotel for our wedding last month. Had many guests visiting and staying at the hotel, and of course we had our wedding there too. We had an amazing time, and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure everything we and our guests needed was accommodated for. The food was also very good in both the restaurant and for our event. The atmosphere of the hotel alone is great, and it's fairly good for accessibility as we had guests with mobility issues. I would highly recommend both staying at the hotel and also having an event there.
