Inn on the Green in Dublin

Was disappointed with the service and quality of experience given this is a five star hotel. After arriving at 8pm at night, no doorman, nobody to greet us, front desk staff was cold and uninviting. Rooms were noisy. No lobby area to sit and relax (we tried to sit in the lobby after a long night with some takeaway food and were asked to confirm we were hotel guests and also asked to eat in our room). Just not what you would expect given the five star rating.

Just stayed there. Great place and will return. From being centrally located in Dublin and so easily walkable around the area and the history, I just cannot say enough about my first trip to the area. I wish I could have tried dinner at the on-site restaurant however it was closed Sunday when I planned to attend. The only thing I could offer as a suggestion for improvement would be an upgrade to the Wi-Fi system, however this will not prevent me from returning as you spend most of the time in the city. What an excellent stay recently at the Fitzwilliam. It’s right in the city center, very comfortable and clean. I’ve stayed there before, but I have to say the customer service is now absolutely top-notch. Alejandro at the front desk and his staff were excellent. I had some trouble with the phone in my room not ringing to place a room service order and they sent somebody up in person. They helped me ship items back to the USA; they were helpful to a fault. Definitely will stay here again.

100 STARS!!! BEST CUSTOMER CARE IN DUBLIN! UPDATE I stayed here again and It was even better. Don't ask me how they could outdo themselves, but they did. It was lovely to see the same amazing and very welcoming staff again- especially Jose at reception and the best coctail artists Paulo. Thank you Fitzwilliam Hotel! You're the best! Jenny

Stayed for the Dublin Marathon and had a lovely comfortable stay. Found the staff great very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel located in a central area, easy walking access to shopping, transit is just outside the door. Service is impeccable, staff are friendly and accommodating, breakfast service is fast and very good, highly recommended. Marjorie, was my go to for breakfast, she was pleasant, funny and welcoming, a great ambassador for the hotel look for her you'll understand my comments! Hotel is a little on the expensive side, but you will not regret the choice, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special.

Rooms are a little small for the price

A real 5 star experience. Not only is the hotel/rooms beautiful but the staff are superb. Great location and breakfast as well. Highly recommend.
