Insomnia Coffee Company - Glasnevin in Dublin

31/05/2026: I visited this cafe yesterday(30.05.2026) using a free coupon. Even if a drink is complimentary, customers should still be treated with respect. Unfortunately, the service at the counter was very disappointing. When I asked for a straw, the staff member was rude and didn’t even listen to what I was saying. The interaction felt unprofessional. Overall, the service experience was poor and it left a negative impression. 👎🏼

15/05/2026: From the outside, it looks rather unassuming, but we ended up here for breakfast during our Dublin trip. They had very good cappuccino and espresso. Plus, one of the most delicious lemon muffins with a creamy filling. They've recently added custard tarts to their menu, which are just as good as the originals from Portugal. Yes, it could be a bit cleaner in terms of appearance and feel, but it's cozy and the staff was friendly. Prices are higher, but reasonable for the taste and freshness. Wheelchair accessible. We can't comment on the restrooms because we didn't use them.
