Not a bad local cafe. It's seldom empty but usually has seating available

Rumours have it that the construction work started around the Megalithic period 2,500 BC - AD 200. The coffee is great too. Shame there are little food options but it is a great place to relax and enjoy a gourmet coffee.

Their cakes and pastries are nice and fresh. Not generally a big fan of insomnia coffee. I find it tastes almost burnt. That, on top of the fact that they charge nearly double the price of most coffee shops I can think of? Well. I’m not super impressed. That said, this particular insomnia is especially cosy, and a great place to wait for the bus. It’s warm, great to get in from the rain, and there’s places to charge my laptop. The staff are lovely, and are happy to have a bit of banter with you. Despite the lacklustre coffee, I find myself going back often enough.

What can you say about any Insomnia, Star bucks, or Cafe Nero? Ok, to make a quick stop, get a few emails out of the way, or grab a coffee to go. Coffee prices are always ridiculous for very average quality. Imho, it is time to reinvent the concept of these types of coffee places, and pivot to quality PLUS convenience
