I am in Dublin for a conference at Trinity College, and as part of the experience they organized a guided tour at the Irish Whiskey Museum. It was truly amazing! I really enjoyed it.
Our guide, Andrew, was fantastic, very funny and entertaining, he made the whole tour even more engaging.
I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone!

Brian was a great host, a very good tour overall, despite not being a whiskey drinker

Our guide Andrew was funny, knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was informative. The fact that the group was quite small made it more enjoyable than the tour in the Jameson Distillery, where you have to deal with big crowds.
The shop has a large selection of different whiskeys including small samples which are very convenient to find out which taste you like most. And the prices are much lower than in the stores around Temple Bar.
All in all an absolutely recommended place to go when you are interested in the making of whiskey.

What a great guide and so educational!
You can book a classic tour (25 euros) to taste three whiskies, or a tour to taste 4 or 5.
If you like whisky, you definitely have to go here.
There is also a bar with live music in the museum.

Our guide, Briain, explained the origins of whisky, the blending of grains, fermentation, and distillation. At the end of the tour, we enjoyed a tasting with explanations to help us appreciate this fine spirit. The bar staff were also very friendly.

What a fun tour and tasting! You need to understand English well, otherwise you'll miss half the jokes.
