Went to the bar in the museum for a flight of Irish whiskey. Was lovely. A very nice bar to sit in on a wet day or when you are feeling weary and just need to rest your feet.

Karen did an amazing job on the whiskey Blend tour. Her storytelling is great!

Thanks to our guide Noel who gave us an interesting and not least entertaining introduction to the history of Irish whiskey. Combined the professional content with funny anecdotes and ended with tastings. No need to pre-book tickets when we were there on a Friday in September.

An exciting guided tour all about whiskey, including a tasting of 3-4 different whiskeys. Highly recommended for anyone with time in Dublin.

I’m going to preface that I was not expecting much considering how much of a tourist trap it looked like and it lived up to that. I can’t quite describe it, but if you care more about immersive storytelling, jokes/puns, and visuals, and you don’t know much about Irish whiskey or won’t have time to visit any distilleries then this might be right up your alley. Otherwise, save your money and go to a distillery (literally any one) to learn about Irish Whiskey. The best part of the tour though was the tasting where you tried whiskeys that were not from Dublin-based distilleries. Would recommend going for the premium so you can try all 4 (avoid the poitin unless you like white whiskey, it’s basically Irish moonshine).

Great experience! It's a good explanation of the drink's origin that ends with a tasting! If you like whisky, don't hesitate!
