Out of the handful of Japanese restaurants I've tried in the Dublin area, J2 is easily my number one choice. The sushi is fantastic – you absolutely have to try the Prawn Monster Sushi, it's incredible. We also loved the Palm Wine, which was a unique and delicious surprise. For beer drinkers, they have Asahi on hand. The restaurant has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. If you're in Swords and looking for high-quality Japanese food, I can't recommend J2 enough.

The delivery of the food was beautiful and what I assumed to be the new girl was just as kind, she seemed to understand and learn from her mistakes, I found her almost amazing despite it being my first time going to a restaurant at all! The atmosphere fits the "Japanese" theme and if you sit close to the door you can see the chef cooking

If you need a reason to visit Swords, this is it! Absolutely fabulous food. The duck teppanyaki was to die for- crispy and succulent. The sushi and sashimi combo was delectable and so fresh! It was presented like the fine art it is too. Attentive service, and we saw some amazing looking cocktails served at the next table. Maybe next time for those...

Amazing food - started with the Deluxe sushi combo , mains were spicy chicken bento box, char grilled beef udon noodles, beef tepanyaki and tonkotsu ramen. No complaints from anyone. Will go back for sure

This is definitely one of my favourite restaurant in sword. The food is delicious, they have a wide range of sushi, super fresh, bento, ramen, tempura, curries and much more. All super yummy 😋
