Jackson's Hotel in Ballybofey-stranorlar

Great rooms, superb bar. Fantastic service and meal. Niamh looked after me so well, I thought was at home. And after working till 10pm there she was at Breakfast serving up the best meal of the day. Some Hotels just have the best staff ever! Great stay thanks.

Hi just had my yearly visit to Jackson as usual top class thanks to all the staff especially Denise and Kelly, bedrooms very comfortable and food was lovely again thanks everyone for making my stay enjoyable. Philip

Had a great weekend stay here. Staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Hotel is lovely inside, had a roaring fire going when we arrived. Singer in the bar was fantastic and the pair the following night were great too. Had a meal in the restaurant which was great, and great service. Used the leisure facilities as well, pool, jacuzzi etc which was all great. Can't wait for our next stay I think we will be regular visitors. Though maybe turn the heat down a bit the rooms are roasting😜

Me and my wife booked for a night away after Xmas and was first greeted by the most friendly man on reception then went to our room and room key wouldn’t work but within 10mins sorted, went to. The bar for dinner and drinks which was absolutely gorgeous couldn’t fault anything staff were brilliant then after as the entertainment started was asked by a lovely lady if we wanted a glass of bubble for the fault with our room key which was a lovely touch, room was beautiful one complaint was too warm (not a bad complaint) lovely stay will definitely return

We just stopped in for food, and it was great.

I met my wife here just after New year's Day, we both travelled in different directions to go to a Funeral wake of a friend. We sat in main restaurant on left hand side of Reception, it was very busy. The food arrived after 15 mins, considering it was a full house, so very happy. The dinner was excellent, we walked up to the bar to pay. In Ireland that's totally fine, it means you have to be elsewhere. My first time eating in Jackson's, I'll be back AGAIN. The car park is gigantic, it handles large coaches all the time. The river Finn is to the rear of the hotel, Drumboe Woods are just along the opposite bank. Well worth checking out before you dine. The town of Ballybofey has a fine theatre 🎭 with lots of performance & music 🎶.

Well, what a gem. An enormous hotel complex right in town centre. Well presented, obviously good investment in the rooms and facilities. The hotel is packed, and the town buzzing. Lovely relaxed experience all round.

Arranged a stay for my parents and a party for mothers 70th. The staff were very helpful and made booking the event easy. My parents were very happy with their stay and said the only downside was their room was located above the residents bar which meant it was a bit noisy. We used the leisure facilities and then onto a meal. The staff were exceptional from start to finish - so friendly and helpful!! The food was beautiful and everyone including my mother had a fantastic time. Great place - would highly recommend!
