Jackson's Hotel in Ballybofey-stranorlar

My Husband and I were enjoying a 3 night stay food was good pool was fab however I I remembered I had an appointment which I had forgotton so had to leave early however on the way down in the lift I took a bad nose bleed to say the staff were good would be an understatement they were amazing they attended me looked after .me in fact I was quite overwhelmed. I would like to send a big big thankyou all the staff at the reception Area for going over and beyond they were amazing and I will be back xxxxx

Lovely hotel, fabulous food, brilliant attention to customer service

We did not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant. The staff was excellent and so was the food!

Good location rooms a bit dated. Poor Guinness and not even using Guinness glassware

Rooms were very nice and Staff. We were in a large party 1st time in Jacksons and always heard good reviews. Sad to say the food was awful breakfast cold had to nake numerous requests for tea etc then 2 or 3 pots arrived at once, dinner was equally awful. All the stops were pulled out on our last evening after 2 very disappointing dinners the last night everything was very good. Too little to late. I would not return to Jacksons.

One gripe the shower was bad no pressure 😔

We have just had the best weekend staying in Jackson’s. The staff are all amazing every single one was so lovely to us and our wee boy. From the minute we checked in the front desk staff, the bar staff and in the restaurant everyone was friendly and helpful. We’ve been to a few places with our son and nowhere was as family friendly as Jackson’s. We’ve couldn’t fault anything and will be recommending it. We will definitely be back and hopefully for the Santa experience

We visited jacksons for the santa hotel on Dec 6th until Dec 8th. During our time storm darragh let loose and so our santa express at oakfield was cancelled which was heartbreaking. 💔 No fault of the hotel at all. The hotel provided Christmas movies, santa visit in the function room and arts and crafts. It was brilliant. The hotel was also close to plenty of shops for both kids and parents and the hotel even gave vouchers for the toys shops and mcelhinneys. Pool is big and staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Bar food again lovely and big portions even for kids. Our boy has Autism and the hotel left us a sensory pack with a tent and fidget toys. Beautiful touch. I would like to specially thank 2 receptionists, Holly and Catherine. You girls were amazing. Yous had alot to deal with when the santa express got cancelled but yous done such a great job. Yous made special efforts with your guests and made our little boy, Jack's stay so special. You girls are worth your weight in gold. Thank yous. See yous again.
