Joels Restaurant in Dublin

The food was good, a huge selection, and the staff very friendly. However, the atmosphere was a drawback: too many people and much too loud for our taste. I felt the prices were a bit too high for what you get.

Joel's is a nearby restaurant for us and I've been going there for the last 20-25 years - the quality of food and service is always consistently great. I wanted to write a special review after a wedding / family get-together dinner we had at Joel's recently. I spoke with the Joel's booking team to book the glass function rooms - the team were very helpful in helping me with the booking, the food choices, the dietary requirements etc. And on the night we were given great care and service and help, I want to highlight Emma's hard work as well - she looked after us from start to finish and did a great job. Keep up the great work as always and thanks again!

Food was lovely service a bit slow but they were busy worth the wait though steak was cooked to perfection Staff always friendly and service good been here numerous times

Very busy restaurant. Staff were great and attentive. Good menu choice with plenty of variety for everyone in the family. Dressing is well spaced out. Desserts went down very well.

This was our first visit to Joel's and prompted by recommendations from friends. We went to celebrate a family birthday. The online booking system was simple, and a later adjustment to the booking as well. Nice greeting at the desk and shown to our table quickly. Emma was our server for the meal and she worked very hard to keep an eye on us. There were no mistakes with our orders and the food was good and nicely presented. We had cocktails and desserts and everything was lovely. I can highly recommend the apply tart with rum and raisin ice cream which was exceptional, in my opinion. Some really lovely touches to the service, including an acknowledgement of our birthday boy, which we really appreciated. A really great first customer experience. Thank you all, particularly Emma who worked really hard!

Great roast beef. Very generous portions. Great service.

We had a party of 10 adults.The waiters name was Mohammed he was very pleasant and friendly came over a few times to make sure everything was OK.

Everything was good but the cocktails was not good at all. Was disappointing paying that much for a drink and it tasted horrible
