John Fallon’s was added to my “Dublin Pub Crawl” list thanks to the recommendation of my hotel’s front desk receptionist, who insisted it had one of the best pints of Guinness in the city. This is an old pub with character from floor to ceiling. The bar itself is on the smaller side, but there is still plenty of room. It has that worn-in, old Dublin feel that can't be faked. We came in on a weeknight around 9pm, and it was quiet. Not empty, but definitely not lively. Overall, John Fallon’s is a classic old pub with a ton of character, a great pint of Guinness and a calm, easygoing atmosphere. Not the liveliest stop on the crawl, but absolutely worth visiting for the atmosphere alone and for a great pint of Guinness.

Lovely, small pub. Atmosphere was great, but it can get crowded quick since it is on the small side. Did not have a chance to try their food

Genuinely the nicest pint of Guinness I've ever had! I'm not usually a Guinness drinker but if they all tasted like this I would be!

Lovely place for a pint. Whenever I’m in Dublin, I make sure to stop by. The staff is friendly and hospitable. I’ve had friends recommend me this place in the past and I will definitely be back next time I am in Ireland. I would suggest this to anyone coming to Dublin for a visit. One of a kind type of place

Burrito

16/10/2025: This place is a regular stop for me as I love the flavors of the meats available especially the pulled pork and the chilli con carne! However I do feel there is room for improvement with certain food options, for example the guacamole in past experience is 10/10 but it’s not been available for a very long time. Considering it’s a burrito place you’d think guacamole would be a priority? Maybe that’s just me but kinda weird that it’s always not available. And other options like pico de gallo seem to also never be available. The “pickled onion” aswell is just red onion sitting in water from what I can make of the taste..they should soak it in proper vinegar so it’s got more soft texture and sourness to it. There’s also no option to buy a bowl of nacho chips which I think would be a good option to have besides the handful thrown in the bag with the main. Again all just personal preference but I think these things go along way with people who really appreciate Mexican cuisine. 😙
07/10/2025: Honestly the best sandwiches in Dublin. Speechless and delighted. Definitely see you soon!
