Beautiful little pub. Loads of character. Used to live near by and would pop in for a pint and a toasty special on a day off.
Fallons is a pub that real pub goers enjoy 👍

Small but genuine local bar. Guinness €6.50 and far superior to some city centre haunts that used to be top Guinness pubs but don't deliver the goods any more. Top spot

It's one of the oldest pubs in Dublin, dating back to 1619. I absolutely loved the old-fashioned atmosphere that you breath here, with the red bricks building, the uneven wooden floor and the outdated stove. I came here for lunch, they only serve ham and cheese toasties for food: it was very early so the place was almost empty, but it's really small so I guess it's hard to find a table during peak hours.

Can’t speak to the food. Atmosphere is perfect. It’s small and cramped so don’t expect a seat.
Bartenders always indifferent. Looks like they are pained to be there.

John Fallon’s was added to my “Dublin Pub Crawl” list thanks to the recommendation of my hotel’s front desk receptionist, who insisted it had one of the best pints of Guinness in the city.
This is an old pub with character from floor to ceiling. The bar itself is on the smaller side, but there is still plenty of room. It has that worn-in, old Dublin feel that can't be faked.
We came in on a weeknight around 9pm, and it was quiet. Not empty, but definitely not lively.
Overall, John Fallon’s is a classic old pub with a ton of character, a great pint of Guinness and a calm, easygoing atmosphere. Not the liveliest stop on the crawl, but absolutely worth visiting for the atmosphere alone and for a great pint of Guinness.
