Genuine Irish pub with good rebel music . Beamish was good at a very fair price. I recommend this spot.

A decent beer selection. But two different streams of Josh Johnson were playing and competing with the background trad music. We were there early so crowd noise was minimal. Thankfully as the bass speakers were powerful.

Lovely place with lovely people running it. Thanks for making us feel so welcome with our young fella!

It was very cold inside the bar on a sunny day. Maybe the lack of crowd didn't help. Staff very indifferent. Our Wow burger and chicken strips were served cold and with no love. The chips were truly inedible: cold & soggy. Miserable experience and we ran away after one pint to a nearby pub which was warmer in every sense.

Really good burger with freshly cooked meat at the moment extremely friendly staff 'I also recommended a very good beer! You can really feel the air of an Irish pub if you come to this neighborhood. I really recommend it

Hands down the best bartenders in Dublin. Calling them bartenders feels like an insult — these legends are cocktail alchemists, spirit-slinging maestros, and full-blown entertainers. Every drink is a performance, every interaction pure magic. The speed, the charm, the banter — it’s like being served by the Westlife of mixology. John’s Bar isn’t just a pub, it’s a stage, and these folks are the stars. Long may they reign!

The best Guiness I have ever tried, great place and excellent service!
