It could be so much better. The young bartender on duty had zero training. He didn't know how to pour a pint. Unacceptable when they charge top dollar for a beer. Also dogs up on the seats, its also unacceptable in a bar serving food.

We ate in Hera on a busy Friday night . The service was top class and the food and flavours were exceptional. As a party of 5 we got to try a wide range of dishes and every one was a delight. Looking forward to going back

JUNO WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT THIS PLACE? THE BEER! Jokes aside, nice accommodating staff and lovely selection of beverages, both warm and cold. The food was scary as I didn't recognise the words on the menu but they gave me bread which I enjoyed. Will be back, just not for a business luncheon.

Service wasn't great at all, I went up to the bar on the restaurant side and asked could I order small plates for our table, told most was sold out, but then three tables who arrived well after us all got small plates. Just found the the service, atmosphere and lay out of the place to be disorganised and cold. I'm sure the food is lovely, but can say much as we couldn't order.

Trys to be dark and moody but fails. It has a miserable interior, bare walls, and bar staff need to be trained in heads up customer service. Overall, it was a disappointing visit.

Avoca Suffolk Street

07/09/2025: We always go to Avoca when in Dublin for the day, for either breakfast or lunch. We were so disappointed with the new style of menu, which was confusing and at times just didn't seem to add up price-wise. We ended up ordering the granola bowl because it didn't involve 'mixing and matching' different items. The prices seem to have risen significantly since our last visit- €14 for the granola bowl and €6 for a scone - seems excessive.
28/08/2025: The store is good yes... But if you're looking for really good Scones it's here ✨👌🏻 Delicious!!
